There are rumors of Morlun becoming the next villain......... I think the Lizard would be OK.... nobody else has read about the Morlun rumor?

I would like to have Lizard and Kraven be the main baddies, with Electro and Black Cat on the side.

Lizard is born. Kraven comes to kill. Electro is introduced as a common thief with some uncommon powers. Black Cat is merely a distraction. When incriminating photos of are released of Spider-Man protecting Lizard against Kraven and the NYPD, JJJ offers 500 grand to anyone can take him down. This lures Electro in.

Finale: Kraven kidnaps Billy Connors to lure the Lizard out. Lizard arrives and he and Kraven battle. Despite MJ's warnings, Peter leaves and goes to intervene. When he arrives, he sees that Black Cat is on her way to fight alongside him. During the battle, Electro arrives, hoping to get money for taking down Spider-Man.

I hope the entire cast comes back. If not, Jake G as Peter is my perfect choice. Keep the same Gwen.. and... perhaps for MJ... mmm... don't know.

I always thought that SpiderMan 4 should be jungle-orientated, with Lizard and Kraven perhaps... they've used almost everything in the city: the streets, the subway and the pipes, the train, buildings, construction sites... so why not the zoo??

I've also thought about a subplot with Mysterio, and make some kind of thriller that involves MJ on-stage. OK that would suck, but is just an idea

This movie is going to be terrible, I cannot believe that it has already been confirmed...ARGH

ENough is enough...Spider-Man is declining after 3.

It works in all comic book movie series. The first one is alright, and pretty good. The second one stuns and is awesome. The third one usually is worse and doesnt meet expectations. There are countless examples, such as X-Men. 4 is too many.

X3 should've been great in the hands of Bryan Singer, and he shouldn't have done Superman Returns which sucks.

Hold on a second here. We haven't even seen the spectacular that is SM3 yet. Lets make it through the next few months before we start arguing over the fourth movie villian. I for one am content with what looks to be like three great films, and if they can make more of the same quality, then make them. If not, then don't.

I'd use the symbiote to explain how Connors is able to combine lizard DNA with his own resulting in the transformations.

If I had my way I'd bring back Doctor Octopus and introduce the Captain America story to explain the origin of Oscorps' super soldier ambitions, Weapon X, and the Hulk. Captain America would not appear in the film-- but I would bring in the Hulk and then Wolverine hunting him. Banner's reaction to the super soldier experiments trying to replicate the success of Captain America would be explained as him being a mutant and the Hulk being a physical manifestation of his mind (raising the question in the end of where do Peter's powers really come from).

Actually makes a lot of sense man. That way you could at least find a way to keep MJ's character interesting. it was one of my ideas as well... I would love Spiderman to face off against Mysterio in SM5... but only if Bruce Cambell agreed to play Quentin Beck in the new trilogy... Electro can't carry a movie on his own IMO so he should be a side villain or number two villain in SM5 and a member of the Sinister Six later on...
