I cant believe that Interstellar comes out next week and we dont even have a classification for Trailer 2 yet.

Seriously wtf is going on with trailer 2? If they are trying to surprise us, well, that time has come and gone. At this point its overdue. It will be less of a surprise and more of a "ABOUT DAMN TIME!!!" sorta thing.

Right up to the moment. PJ's elite "videogame zero-physics" team will be busy working until dawn, adding in Orc steam-motorcycle squadrons and Elven windsurfing.

They're probably still working on all the CGI.

Normally Id disagree, but with Jackson I dont doubt that at all. He seems to always work on the cgi until like the week of the premiere and seems to run out of time every single time.

When they delayed BTFA from July 2014 to December 2014 I was upset, but in hindsight Im so very thankful that WB did that. Just knowing Jackson's track record, Im confidant that had the film been released in July it would have been a disaster. The cgi would have been worse than anything we saw in AUJ or DOS.

Working on practical SFX for the epilogue where Bilbo wears Smaug's skin while leading a peasants' uprising against the Shire bourgeoisie.

His entire SFX department will have to spend the night crammed into a small office.

Again.

Man Can't wait to get the Smaug extended

I pre-ordered the Amazon statue version because I couldn't help myself. :(

I did the same. I've gotten the 'collector's set' of every extended edition so far. So I have the Argonath bookends from Fellowship Extended, the Smeagol/Gollum statue from Two Towers Extended, Minis Tirith from Return extended, the Bilbo/Gollum statue from An Unexpected Journey Extended, the Erebor bookends from the Desolation theatrical collector's set they did. So I always knew I'd be getting the collector's set of Desolation (and whatever they do for Battle as well). Have to have a complete set ;)

The fans at TheOneRing are throwing a fit because WB won't front the bill for seven of the dwarf actors/extras to fly out to London for the premiere.

Funny enough, none of them have threatened to refuse to see the movie in theaters because of it. Guess it really isn't that big of a deal. They'll ***** about it anyway though.

wait seven of the main dwarf actors? or the extras?
Seven of the 13 dwarves.

But seeing as how most of them barely speak and are there mainly to adhere to canon and provide comic relief, I was attempting humor.

to be honest regardless what I think of the series, WB should front the bill.

Courtesy of a member over at blu-ray.com for bringing this to our attention.

Trailer 2 will be with Interstellar!

A member on TheOneRing.net e-mailed SF Norge and asked about the trailer, they replied saying it will be released on the 6th of November.

The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies trailer is now listed on Alberta Film Ratings, which is yet more confirmation it will be released in the coming few days.

Those fans always whine about something or the other, they need to learn a thing or two from Nolan Fans site. :o

Well it seems that the Dol Guldor stuff happens early in the film (Guardians of the Three) after the Battle of Laketown, but before the battle for Erebor. And that there wont be much bridging material at the end. Based on this tracklist I can definitely see this film being around 2 hours.
