But they should be humanoid since they come down from corrupted elves(and we know what elves look like).

I'm not sure that it looks any less humanoid than the Moria goblins. They were very insect-like. This has the flesh tone and proportions of a man despite being monstrous, almost like a pig. Though it is more deformed and asymmetrical than those goblins.

In the movie verse, aren't the orcs pulled from the earth around Isengard? (And the Uruk-Hai were the result of breeding those orcs with humans?).

I'm pretty sure the creatures being birthed in the pits of Isengard were Uruk-hai already. The movie-verse treats them as a cross between orcs and goblin men (Gandalf says this to Elrond, I believe), whereas the book intended them to be a cross between orcs and human men (which is why they are able to travel in sunlight).

From what I've read, Tolkien always used "goblin" and "orc" interchangeably to describe the same creature. I think he tended to use "goblin" more in The Hobbit due to it being a children's book.

Morgoth captured a group of elves imprisoned them and corrupted and transformed them using dark magic. Sauron was Morgoth's lieutenant for those who dont know
