Both really. They were constantly dissing the 616 Avengers, um hello Ultimate would never have existed if not for Avengers *******s.

The movie should have gone Ultimate or straight 616. I didnt like how it was elements of both. Then again, seeing Ultimate Thor and War Machine was kinda cool.

It's been a while since I saw it, but I don't recall him dissing The Avengers. I recall him talking about The Ultimates.

o well,they have there flaws.Anyways.I hope they start explaining some things in ultimates,how the reserves suits work,how the national captians suits work and so on,i think they were in some kind of charging room,that red light must do somthing to there suits seeing as they were all crowded in there.Itll be nice to see what happend to thor and mabey get a better idea of where he came from.I want to know how cap gets out of this one too,i know this guys not going to be slow and stupid and his weapon looks pretty firce,im hopinh some distance attack takes place,mabey iron man,mabey thor.Im eagerly anticipating the deaths,I didnt expect cap to be the one to kill the schoziod man when i first saw him but he did a pretty good job with wasp.I hope wasp takes out swarm in some cool fashion,mabey that exo skeleton is really fragile.Ive re read that last issue quite a bit,i sware there is somtihng to those cuffs.

Anyone notice that we arent being shown what exactly wanda is doing with her powers,in this sisue it looks like a wall is being formed or somthing.fury didnt appear all issue and I want to make clear that the presidents cry out scene was not bad at all,i didnt see anything hookey or cliche except him yelling her name,air force one being torn in half over washington doesnt seem that cliche to me(closest thing being the wave scene in ID4).Those grunts are a force of there own and it seems abom is more of a body gaurd then an offensive villian like his 616 counterpart(although he did play body gaurd for the leader for a short time) and i tihnk thats the worst hit caps ever taken,it could have been drawn a bit better though,more blood,especilly from his mouth and so on,hes gotta have internal injurys with that kind of force.Hurricane and hawkeye,didnt see that coming either but it be cool to see him take her out in a creative way.Hulk ripping into dynomechs was awesome.I hope he keeps going,there are about 20 left.I have to wonder if they took prof x in,hes still alive but prolly drugged.Has this been coverd in ultimate xmen yet?

Either way, it wasnt really dissing but they were saying stuff along the lines of the 616 Avengers wasnt selling well and it was boring and nobody was reading ti and stuff like that.

Well, after Geoff Johns left the book, there was a stretch where interest was declining.

Thats because they put Austen on the book. And that was only a 4 issue arc I believe before Bendis came on and destroyed them.

I've been thinking,it's going to be a sad day for Marvel when Millar leaves the House of Ideas.He's made it quite clear on his board that he has major plans within the DCU when his contract runs out at Marvel.

Then again,whether you love or hate Mark's writing,expect a crapload of people to read the stuff he does at DC.It's gonna be big for DC.

I just had a thought: What if the guy with the mask and the guns is Hawkeye. After his family dies, goes into a very deep depression, and switching from his signature boow and arrows to firearms is meants to show this.

I thought that was the point of robbing his place because it was Cap. It was just a random street gang but I thought they were making a statement, "We don't care who he is we'll still rob his ass."
