No it wouldn't. Time travel is all over the place in Ultimate FF. :o

thats good to hear. How do they handle time travel?
Is it rare and very out of the ordinary to the characters?
I stopped reading Ultimate FF.

has anything actually come out in recent months?

where is the story at now? is there still talk about who the traitor is and whether thor is actually crazy or not.

Man, #11 isn't on the list for the 14th!

:(
Yeah, I noticed that too. It's now slated for the 21st on marvel.com. :(

I guess you can't trust what Millar, Brevroot or anyone else at Marvel says regarding this book. At least we get Civil War #2 next week.

As of #10:

  • The Liberators have defeated SHIELD, the remaining Ultimates and practically destroyed their infrastructure from the inside out. Fury loses an arm in the battle. Quicksilver might be severely injured.
  • Hawkeye is alive, loose and majorly pissed off.
  • Tony overcomes Widow (the real traitor) after she kills Jarvis and is preparing to join the fray.
  • Pym (who was recruited by Widow) is with the Liberators and commanding an occupying army of Ultron and Vision droids.
  • Thor is still in his cell, lamenting the situation and pleading to his 'father'.
  • Wasp helps Cap escape and he's about to confront Schizoid Man.

I'm sure I've skipped a few things but those are most of the biggies.

SOG,you should really read some other stuff besides Ultimates. You seem to grow very frustrated and antsy everytime there is a delay.

Right now, I'm reading Books of Doom (which was late, and just ended), Ultimates 2 (which is late), Ultimate Wolverine versus Hulk (which is super-f***ing late), and All Star Superman (which is also late). Late, late, late, LATE!

I stopped reading Ultimate FF.

Ultimate FF has been the best MONTHLY Ultimate title for a while in my books.

thanks for the re-cap

do the liberators look cool?

Yeah, I'd say they look pretty cool (except for Swarm and Hurricane).

Dang, SumOfGod, all your book are late. :(

This ending better not be a letdown after all this wait. No Extinction repeats

lol Ultimate Extinction 5 was such a piece of s**t. Three mini-series leading up to... F*** ALL! And crappy art, to boot. Warren Ellis should stay the hell away from Ultimate Marvel from now on...

don't forget that Extinction was originally meant as a six-hander series. Because of Ellis' schedules, and the desire to get the trilogy completed, it was condensed to five issues. which is probably why that last issue is best described with a 'pooffff' sounds rather than a 'KABOOM!' sound.

Anyway, actually on topic... Fair enough, 11 is solicited for the 21st now... so what's the latest in issues 12?

Yeagh, I don't really collect any Ultimate titles anymore, very rarely buy any, but i like the idea of it.

what happened at the end of Ultimate Extinction? Did Galactus kill everyone or something?

Richards set off the big bang of a baby universe, and directed it's energy towards Gah Lak Tus (a swarm of 100,000 alien killing machines). 20% of them were destroyed, and they suddenly decided that Earth wasn't worth it after all. The end.

wait Gah Lak Tus was a swarm of a thousand killing machines? Those spaceships were him? I sort of liked it better when I thought that big round helmet looking thing on the first cover was him.
Yeagh, I'd say thats a let down.

They also programmed the way to make him go away into Vision so she could give it to futre plantes she was sent to warn.

I prefer by far 616 Galactus. A gigantic god-like celestial being whose homeworld was destroyed by the big bang that created our universe, and who now travels from one world to the next assimilating enough vital energy in the hope to one day be able to recreate his entire race? Badass.

You guys are really getting the shaft with these delays.
