Issue 5 is not that bad since issue 1 came out in January. Faster than the Ultimates anyway.

Since we're all waiting for next year's one issue to come out, I was wondering if any of you read the Ultimates novel, the Tomorrow Men. I usually don't like these novelizations, but this one was fun. If you like Tony Stark, you might want to read it. Nothing earth-shattering, just a nice weekend read.

There's no way this is gonna last 6 issues after all, not with issue 3 already being 6 months late. I'm pretty sure issue 3 and 4 are being re-written and re-organized so that it ends with issue 4, which might come out in December.

I'm straining soo hard to remain interested in that title. I really wanna hear Marvel's reason for the delays.

Here's what I imagine will happen in issue 12: The Ultimates (and the rest of the Ultimate Marvel Universe) will kick the s**t out of the Liberators and their millions of super-soldiers, but Loki will manipulate reality so that the bad guys get the upper hand again, and then Odin will intervene and lay the smack down on his mischievous son. Hawkeye will die a hero and be reunited with his wife and children in Heaven, which Thor will be able to see being a god (unless it's Giant Man who finally does the right thing and dies a hero), Hulk and Thor will get the highest body count, everything is fine (except for America being left humbled and in ruins), the end. And then issue 13 will be an epilogue, leading up to the predictable sucktacularity of Ultimates 3 and 4.
