In Norse mythology, Ragnarök is the battle at the end of the world. It will be waged between Odin, and the various forces of the Jötnar, including Loki. Not only will most of the gods, giants and creatures involved perish in this apocalyptic conflagration, but almost everything in the universe will be torn asunder.

I don't remember Surtur coming up in Ragnarök.

Greek Gods get a little lame after the fifty millionth time you hear someone go, "OH ATHENA!!! GREEK GODS ARE SO AWESOME!!!"

My fave's are the Caananite, which the Greek Gods were based on. But the Greek Gods lack the Inanna.

Egyptian gods also rock.

Probably not. Most of these movie studios seem hell bent on using the updated "modern" Ultimate version of characters in their movies. Because they're ULTIMATE!!!
