Really hope it isnt Hawkeye - bows might seem a little stupid in a more realistic superworld, but the Ultimates already has ten thousand regular troops they send out everytime theres a big skirmish - Hawkeye needs to be a bowman to make him stand out. Though given their independant status now, I guess he'd be the only guy with a gun (no more troop backup).

Makes no difference. At first he was a rip of Green Arrow, now he's a rip of Arsenal. Looks good to me.

Eh, I has teh mixed emotions. On one hand, I have devoured all things Ultimates in the past, but this worries me. I don't want it to lose that movie feel that Millar and Hitch gave it, and it looks like they're doing that, with this cartoony art and a more 616 look for Scarlet Witch. Then there's Wasp being blond. That just ain't right. Neither are Wolvie and Spider-Man being in there.

And is that Valkyrie with the sword?

Yup. That's Valkyre alright. Spider-man and Wolverine make sense to me. They've been hinting at it for so long that any more teasing would have drove me frickin nuts.

Plus with Xavier gone and Wolverine leaving the X-men it makes sense for him to show up. Both him and Spider-man probably figured "No Fury?! And I get to be on the most prominent superhero team in the world?! I'm in!".

I would have been a hell of alot impressed with the New Avengers roster if it was like this. Lets see, no Luke Cage, Spider-Woman, Ronin or Sentry.... yeah, it looks good to me. A great mix of powers and abilities here.

And Black Panther. He's the best! And they kept Thor. and I don't give two s***s about it looking too 616ish! I thought the 616 costumes were better than the ultimate ones, except the FF and XMen and Cap and Thor, and Spidey because his is the same in ultimate and 616, and Giant Man and Wasp too.
