So in other words you just really like the 616 Iron Man...

Also if that is Valkyre it does make the New ShadowCat/Hellcat debate in USM more intresting.

I don't like the 616 Iron Man's personality after the Civil War, I like the Iron Man from the first couple New Avengers comics and the New Avenger armor was the greatest armor ever created! F*** CIVIL WAR!!!!!

I would have been a hell of alot impressed with the New Avengers roster if it was like this. Lets see, no Luke Cage, Spider-Woman, Ronin or Sentry.... yeah, it looks good to me. A great mix of powers and abilities here.

Spider-Man and Wolverine should never been Avengers in any continuity. It makes even less sense when you consider how completely useless Ultimate Spidey is and how underdeveloped Wolverine is.

This does make me sad for another reason: no Hulk :(.

Well I guess this is an opportunity both for Spider-man to train/gain experience with the best and for some more Wolverine development.

I actually like that he isn't on the team because...well...he's the frickin Hulk.

It really doesn't make sense for Banner to remain on the team and fight alongside everyone as Hulk. He works better when the Hulk is something he's not trying to turn into.

Thats utter bull****. Spider-man has been there since the beginning. He's got more experence than anyone short of Cap, Wolverine and Namor. He's taken on just about every kind of threat and yet he's not Avenger material, but somehow guys like Dman, Triathalon, Machine Man, Sandman and Hawkeye are? Give me a break. Besides, the guy has been on the reserves for years now. The whole "he's a loner" arguement is even stupider considering Marvel Team-Up has more or less gradually become Spider-man team up since the 70s. Hell, Spidey should have been an Avenger IN the 70s.

His Ultimate counterpart has been involved with the team since about issue 25 and it makes a lot of sense considering how little ultimate heroes there actually are. Besides, Fury made a great point in noting how the Ultimates have done less together than Spidey has all by himself.

As for Wolverine, I can't actually back that as well, but again, what makes Hawkeye so special? Luke Cage or Spider-woman for that fact? There are other X-men I'd rather see make transition to Avenger, but I'm not going to scream about Wolverine's inclusion.

Kill the f***ing Wasp off....worst superhero....ever...

Then it will be PERFECT.

And that's our random moment of hate, brought to you by the letters F, U, and the number 1.

That's right. And most likely, he's still in SHIELD custody. And if not, he's probably not part of the Ultimates. I don't see why he'd want to be.

No black team. No SHIELD.

Unless you mean that SHIELD itself is still using him...Which I can see. They already have guys like The Hobgoblin in there. Maybe they'll end up making some kind of New Ultimate Defenders or something anyway.

Part Two is up...

It's kind of suprising that 71-85% of them are mutants.

71 if that girl in the back isn't a mutant, 85 if she is.

And Venom, from wherever he came back from.

Ultimately, I'm not suprised it's only X-Men/Spider Man enemies given that Wolvie and Spidey are on the same team.

Thats actually really lame. What a shame, I really liked the team on the left side only to see the Brotherhood plus Venom. We've seen this version of the Brotherhood a bunch of times too. Magneto, Sabertooth and Mystique? Wow, so original.

Well apparently, Storm too.

Yeah well it's the only team that can compete with them considering the Liberators are kinda dead. :csad:

I wonder who that chick in the back is though...

How boring. How about Ultimate Red Skull, Kang, or Ultron....not the crappy one that appear in Millar's version? Not something that is more suitable in Ultimate X-Men.

And why the hell would Venom be on a team of mutant terrorist?

My guess? The story isn't even done yet so MAD just threw together a bunch of villains. Ultron and Ultimate Red Skull would've been nice to throw in there though. Maybe Ultimate Claw considering Black Panther's on the team now.

Agreed.

I'd like them to take a stab at Ultimate Count Nefaria myself.......

Yup...Oh and. What. The. ****!. Is with Mjolnir?! I WANT HAMMER-AXE!:cmad:

Looks like.

Its a shame though. Practically all of the classic Spidey villains short of Mysterio (kinda) have been ultimized, every mutant under the sun, but no Avenger foes. I guess since all they do is fight themselves, nothing goes on. You've got Abomination, Swarm (who's basically a spidey villain now), Crimson Dynamo and Hurricane. Thats about it. 26 issues and thats it? Thats pathetic.

Zemo, Hydra, Blizzard, Mandarin, Crossbones, Red Skull, there are so many characters out there. And another retread is the best they can do?
