I know Joe mad is semi irratic but his art rocks and is not too manga now. I usually hate McGuiness his heros look like the stay puff mashmallow man. Now it works when it is supes but looks ridiculous on others. IMHO.

Besides the thing with Gwen Stacy, those 50 years went uneffected. The characterizations stayed the same. Things just became different for Spidey. Which I had no problem with. I really liked all the magic stuff JMS used on his run.

I mean, it's ridiculous. Spidey fans get in a huff every time there's a new development. I mean, quit already. Stop reading them in the store. Is there a reason some kind of official declaration is made every time a fan is unhappy. Just stop buying. I'm enjoying them more than enough for both (or all) of us.

And, yes, I would rather want to see McGuiness on The Ultimates that Joe Mad.

It would actually be kind of ironic too especially after the arc from Superman/Batman where they sort of parodied the Avengers.

I don't, and how can you say that Spider-man gaining his powers magically and that stuff does not affect his history? Actually, it ties directly into his origin.

True. But it really doesn't effect anything about his history besides the story where he learned about it. And I really don't see how it's a bad thing, either.

The thing about that is, it can be ignored by future writers (and it almost certainly will be) without the need for any retooling/reworking/cuircuitous manipulations.

Ed McGuiness on ULTs 4? I'll bite, plus I'd put money on the fact Ed will probaly have to fill-in for Joe Mad on ULTs 3 since that hack can't finish a sentence.


Mark my words, Joe Mad is gonna either bow out on Ultimates 3 by the 4th issues or he's gonna only be doing covers.

Kubert is DC exclusive.I think they're both overrated as artists,I don't see anything really big about their styles except for the fact that their art bares striking similarities to Jim Lee's.

Ultimates would be better handled by someone like McNiven,Epting or Yu.

So if we are going to believe Marvel's catalog schedule, Ultimate Wolverine Vs. Hulk comes out this month.

After the Hulk reveal in #11,my interest is completely gone for the Hulk/Wolvie mini.

I feel like I'm just going to be spending another 16 bucks on the next 4 issues just to see Hulk and Wolverine fight,which is completely unjustifiable.

Ross isn't alone on his bimonthly Justice maxi-series.Dougie B draws the layouts for Ross to paint over.If Ross was at it alone,it would take longer for sure seeing as to how his level of work has improved much more since Marvels.
