MI3 goes wide tomorrownightat 10 pm and Iknow tons of will be seeing it tomorrow, friday, and over the weekend, and most theaters should be packed. When the superman trailer airs, look for audience reaction when its done/share with us how it looked on the big screen. I saw MI3 this morning at my brothers cinema in connecticut and the trailer aired...crowd seemed to like it. Only about 20-25 people and most said little hushed "wows" at the plane sequence at the end.

and DAMN/HOLY **** did it look good on the big screen!

Very nice. I will be seeing MI3 some time this weekend just outside Boston. Let's see if it's the same New Englander reaction.

I saw M:I-3 last night at a preview screening and they didn't even have the trailer, only the TEASER. Must not have been 'officially' released in Australia yet. Or one of those stupid new projectionists didn't do their job.

Well, like I stated in the other thread only the teaser played with MI3 at my cinema. Someone said 'oh, the Superman movie'. But when the X3 trailer played more people got excited including one person saying 'OOOH! X-MEN!'

WELL I POSTED REACTIONS IN ANOTHER THREAD BUT THEY CAN GO HERE TOO.

    People seemed pleased.
One guy yelled out 'Where's Hackman' and everybody laughed.
A few people said 'Woah, Superman!' when it started.
The girls sitting infront of me jumped when Luthor screamed 'WRONG!'

Overall everyone was impressed. No clapping or anything but to be honest I have never been in a cinema where people applauded a trailer or even a film.

i hope people will realize that this movie is good. the only problem that i see is that they will not give this movie a chance.

i think that this ''superman'' could be a problem. i think some people dont want to see this movie just because it is superman. like it is something gay if you like superman :down:mad:

I know one guy who doesn't like Superman because he has underwear on the outside. He says it's 'gay'

It's kinda true. My buds like X-Men, Spider-Man, and Batman (both the characters and movies). None of them are comic book fans. They all think that Superman is either boring, unappealing, and too God-Like for their liking.

I dunno...there is a romance to Superman that I think a lot of people these days don't get attracted to. Some people love it (like me), the fact that he is the quintessential superhero; that he has a mission that is ultra-idealistic - to save humanity (that is a heroism and burden a lot of people can't relate to); that his story with Lois Lane is a classic love story etc.

I tell my friends that if a plane falls out of the sky, one can't imagine any other Superhero saving it other than Superman - doing it the 'old fashioned' way by grabbing on to it and putting it safely on the ground. They mostly agree, but feels totally unattached to that fact.

Anyway, i'm seeing MI3 tomorrow. Will post any crowd response (provided they show the trailer).

green lantern would catch five planes while superman could probably max out at two unless he catches the next one with his legs.

I showed alot of my friends the trailer on my psp and they're a lot more eager to watch it now since the dissapointing teaser. Spacey's brought a lot of respect to this movie so far with them

The point is not how many planes can a person catch, but the grandeur and dramatism of the pursuit and feat itself. Green Lantern catching five planes with his power ring, to me, will not be as potentially cinematic as Supes flying after one and saving it.

    Hope I'm making sense...

    makes some sense.

he'll catch one measly plane and set her down really easy, while the green lantern would have to scoop the planes into a green net his ring makes one by one.

Today I saw MI3, it was really good movie blockbuster.

But there also was SR teaser-trailer on big screen.

At first we saw Da Vinci Code full traielr, and then X3 trailer. People were impressed.

But then we got SR teaser and people said something like...

"Is it Superman? It looks awesome!"

"Oh no, another stupid Superman movie!"

"Who is that guy (about Brandon Routh)?"

So I don't think SR will get huge box office in Russia, but it will make enough.

In Belgium we saw The Fast and The Furious: Tokyo Drift trailer, X-Men 3 trailer and Over the Hedge trailer. No Superman Returns teaser or full trailer!

I thought: ****, nothing about Superman! I hope WB starts to release a lot of commercial on TV (worldwide) because only we on the internet and the people we talked about it known there will be a new Superman movie!

And this movie will be awesome, best Superman movie ever, the greatest movie ever. I hope X-Men 3 will be good but not great!

So...In the countries you all live in...everybody talks and yells in the cinema?

Good, that people don't do that here.

Or you are all making it up...
