I don’t mind having a racebent Sue and Johnny but I definitely think they need to keep Johnny’s identity as a twink.

and please if you’re racebending them don’t just do one and not the other.

I just had a great idea, Doombots possibly made from the remains of Ultron units left in Sokovia?

This could lead to either
A. Age of Ultron 2

B. Doom and Ultron team up
i'm almost 100% positive that leftover doombots are going to be scavenged by doom to make doombots, all that vibranium leftover, and it's an easy connection to the avengers

one thing i didn't consider is that watts will be working with feige directly and not have pascal there, so it can only be better :funny:

Watts had to have had one helluva pitch or Feige must really really see something in Him, to entrust him with reviving the cursed FF.

I actually find myself veering back towards Seth Rogen, 38 for Ben Grimm. He could definitely sell “it’s clobbering time,” and get people onboard for The Thing. He’s just a lovable guy, but I’m sure with the voice & the CGI artistry he’d sound/look the part too

I still think he’d fit in well with my other current picks.

Reed: Jay Ellis, 38 / Adam Driver, 37
Sue: Ana de Armas, 32
Johnny: Anthony Ramos, 29 / Keean Johnson, 24

EDIT: I feel like Jon Favreau would have made a perfect Ben Grimm too. He could have directed this thing while he was at it

Yes, but he's Romani. Doom shouldn't have an American accent anyway
oh, my mistake, all this time I thought "romani" meant from Rome, lol. my bad.
yeah, Oscar has some romani roots, I think, tho not 100% sure.

and had no idea comics Doom is a romani

I didn’t either @SumT .

You learn something new in the FF forums everyday. How appropriate :yay:

While a great actor. I'd feel like he'd succumb to the "oh my God that's Seth Rogen" trope that those like RDJ, Samuel J, and Pratt suffer in the MCU.

And yes I understand that he'll be the thing at some point. But that just leaves his voice and acting which isn't exactly what I imagine Grimm to be.

May I suggest Vincent Donofrio from Daredevil. They don't seem to be casting him as anything else so why not bring him back for an all new role.

Still holding out hope that D’Onofrio returns alongside Cox into the MCU as Kingpin and Daredevil respectively.

I just reread Hickman’s Fantastic Four run and FF run (with Spidey), and I don’t think there’s any material there that Seth Rogen’s acting abilities couldn’t cover. He’d obviously bring the humor and the heart, but I still believe he could strike a balance and give us some bad*** moments as Thing clobbering whoever the antagonist is. I also think he’s a good “buddy” actor—I just think he’d be great as Reeds righthand guy.

His voice already has a certain rasp to it, further digitize it/modify it, drop the pot jokes, and I think Rogen’s there. Maybe Disney liked what they heard in The Lion King voice booth lol.

How about we allow Doom to make his own tech, rather then needing to steal it from others from day 1?

Doom wouldn’t steal someone’s else tech as that would be “beneath him.”
I'm just saying, he could build his own things. But it's a pretty go-to choice they could make. Then again, by now surely they've cleaned up the remaining Ultron bots. So they'll prolly save that for another plotline.

Good point. You think Galactus is gonna be the villain or they'll give Doom another stab? They already did him 3 times, and we have yet to see a proper Galactus.

So I'd rather they build up to the aspect of Doom. Perhaps Doom helps to defeat Galactus at first but then we get the God Doom plotline because he secretly steals some of the power cosmic.

That comic was so badass and a great read for any Doom fans. Dude was literally King of Battleword and I believe it was the best and most evil his character has ever been. Wanna one up Thanos? That's how you do it. Introduce the dude that eats planets and have a human take that power for himself. In the comics it was the Beyonder.

But I doubt they'll go the Battleworld plot anytime soon. They have a lot of roster rebuilding to do after killing off and retiring several popular heroes and villains. Although I could see that being the trilogies finale.

For the first villain, I’d say these three are most likely (possibly with Doom supporting them): Mole Man, Mad Thinker, Wizard

Galactus / Surfer etc seems like sequel/threequel material.

Good choices. Mole man also provides the obvious disposable army of his mole people. And you know Marvel loves disposable armies.

I have another Reed Richards pick. British actor Kingsley Ben Adir.

90

He played a pathologist in the British television crime series Vera, and has recently played Malcom X in the movie One Night In Miami. He also played Barack Obama on the Showtime series The Comey Rule.

I was just watching Noelle on Disney+ to get in the holiday spirit and I was pleasantly surprised to see Kingsley Ben-Adir as the male lead / love interest. He was good

I'd prefer a fight against Annihilus (and Blastaar) in the Negative Zone. This is the third official attempt at the FF onscreen, so it is time to go big or go home.

My current MCU FF fan cast:

Reed: John David Washington
Sue: Lily James
Johnny: Dacre Montgomery
Ben: Seth Rogen

Mole Man is my choice for the first film's villain. In which case, Jack Black is my choice.

I'd don't have a choice for Doom. I'm hoping that they pluck some unknown actor from Europe like they did with Tom Hiddleston. Ideally from Eastern Europe for that extra bit of authenticity.

These are my personal favourites at the moment:

Reed: John Krasinski
Sue: Emily Blunt
Johnny: Dacre Montgomery
Ben: Jack Black
