Here I was worried Disney would have the duel happen on bright sandy tatooine. Instead the duel was on dark rocky planet.

Hm... yeah I don't really have much to say about the show overall other than that I think I hated every second of it. Shame as there were some neat concepts, but all handled so poorly. Kinda think I'm done with new SW after this unless I hear glowing things.

There is definitely stuff I liked. Some stuff I loved. But it felt so much more duck tapped to together from both a writing and sfx standpoint. I'm honestly kind of shocked. Even the acting was very hit and miss.

Perfection. 10/10

Bravo, Deborah Chow, Jon Favreau, Dave Filoni, Ewan McGregor, Hayden Christensen and Liam Neeson!!!!!!!!

So happy now. Won't be able to sleep.

Season 2 please. Training with Qui-Gon now.
I like how you went Bravo to Liam Neeson, who had less material the 99% of the people on the show. :hehe:

I enjoyed it, but also Disney+ Star Wars continues to underwhelm me. Fingers crossed for Andor.

It shocks me too how cobbled together this felt. I would've thought of the shows, this would be the one that all the money, time, and other resources necessary.

Well at least the duel was in one spot give or take a couple of yards. We didn't have to watch Vader and Kenobi walking all over the planet. Or climb up and down those rocks. So Kenobi beats the prime version of Anakin/Vader, then the overpowered version of Darth Vader. I mean at this point I don't see why Kenobi doesn't just go after Sidious. Between him and Yoda they should be able to handle the emperor.

Lots of other shows and franchises to try out.

He was the YESSSSSSSSSS moment. Season 2 can make him a supporting character.

Crazy how great this episode was. The rematch, Vader unmasked, Obi-Wan at his strongest and most compassionate, Palpatine and Qui-Gon.

Perfection.

Lucasfilm wins.

They did rewrite after stating pre-production, during COVID. Then shot it during COVID. Weirdly, Boba felt more cohesive, and it was al over the place.

Really enjoyed the finale and the series overall.

- The rematch lived up to the billing, Obi-Wan is still the master.

- Don't think I have ever seen Vader get smacked around like that before.

- About time we got to see the full extent of what a Jedi Master is really capable of.

- Leia continues to shine, my favourite part of this series.

- Loved both cameos

Here's to a season 2.

They definitely saved the best for these last two episodes

That lightsaber duel is the best one since the prequels, not counting animated series shows like Clone Wars or Rebels obviously. People can finally stop crapping on Hayden’s acting, he did very well. Quite an emotional duel, that moment towards the end once Ben truly realized his friend/student is gone had me :waa:

Nice to see Palpatine & Qui Gon make an appearance

Didn’t care for Reva at first but she won me over these last two episodes. Hopefully the rumors of Cal Kestis getting his own series is true, perhaps both characters can eventually meet

Overall, the series did have its issues. Mainly with the writing and some of the cinematography & editing, but it was still enjoyable. It was nice to see Ewan and Hayden back and better than ever

Now bring on Andor!

I almost feel kinda bad they were/are probably betting on doing another show with Reva.

I cried as Obi-Wan cried. I was already struggling to watch Vader all beat up and breathing erratically. I felt such pity. Obi-Wan felt compassion. Powerful scene.

It's baffling to me that people are complaining after such an amazing scene. OF COURSE he didn't finish him off.

Calling him "Darth" was brutal. Fantastic climax.
