It wouldn't be the first spider-slayer, it would just be designed by smythe. It would be the introduction to what we would later see as the spider-slayers. So we see that smythe is dabbling in crazy robotics, then he learns from whatever happens with Rhino's mech.

I'd like this.

I'm reserving judgement until we see a better quality pic but I'm liking what I see so far. I don't know why so many people are surprised, we've known for months that he was going to be a giant mechanical vehicle.

It'll be at least 50/50 two and four legs... I wouldn't get too worried yet. 2 when talking and fighting, 4 when busting through walls, etc..

I don't think that it's a face; where he has it outlined where the shoulders are... I think contribute. My guess, his helmet is going to open and close robotically.

I assume they haven't added his face there, but the outline is about the same shape as the structure around his head in the set pictures

As I said in the main forums, I think you're looking at the Rhino picture wrong. Someone said it didn't have ears but if you look at the horn, on both sides of it are two metal things that are sticking out. Above that is of course the red laser eye and then the top of that I believe is the Rhino's head. Plus, the way I look at it as, the horn is raised up, as if Alexi is challenging Spider-Man; ready to charge.

I wish I could draw it out. Maybe someone else can.

I don't believe below the horn is a face.

And yes the poster is official I saw it in my theatre today.

I'm pretty sure up until this point he was a "secret villain," otherwise he would have been revealed long ago. But anyway, if you saw it in your theater as well then it is probably official.

This is why we need a clearer picture of what Rhino looks like. And we need to see him from another perspective. I could picture this thing standing up… I highly doubt he is going to be crawling on all fours at all times.

It makes more sense for him to cover up his face when he's charging. The guy is moving so fast, so he would need to protect his face somehow.

if he stands up right then you would see his face, but when he goes down on all 4s he will be facing almost downwards, at least thats how i see it but you may be right

thats gonna be a huge 4 leg rhino, esp if he is actually standing upright in that thing while on 4 legs, let alone there is also something pretty big above his head
