Yeah I was always confused as a kid on which continuity were we supposed to follow. I liked the movie version of how they got their Ninja powers better.

Representation matters these days. In another episode of Dino Fury I guess the rangers are supposed to make a public appearance and two guys are in the park wondering if Gold will show up and the other guy says, “I hope he’s cute.” The writers are definitely being inclusive. I’m here for it!

DEADLINE: You have in the works quite a few projects based on Hasbro titles — Risk, Clue as well as Power Rangers, which I hear was set up at Netflix several months ago. Can you give us a status update?

LOMBARDO: Since we set up Power Rangers with Jonathan, we pitched really a whole-world approach. It’s not just one show, it is shows followed by films, some kids’ programming. We have found a great writing partner for him, they are off. Knock on wood, Netflix is excited, we’re excited, we hope to have some news soon.

Netflix is becoming more aggressive with gaining IP… I like it and Power Rangers too. This has huge potential. Hoping it goes well.

Well I like Cowboy Bebop lol I’m four episodes in but I can see why some don’t like it. Netflix really needs bigger franchises like Disney has with Marvel and Star Wars and HBO Max with DC. Stranger Things ain’t gonna be around forever but Netflix has some hits just need more MASSIVE hits.
