Amidst the insanity, this was a pretty good idea minus the last part. Spider-Fan had a pretty good outline for something along these lines.

how about Iraq, present day , so its contemporary soldiers at war, an elder predator and his son hunt down sum US marines, the squad is killed but one, and he kills the son, returns to America, and the elder still bears its grudge. bang wallop there u go!

In a prison..but with Dutch in the prison who has been there since he was found guilty of the murders of his men..they don't believe him that an Alien did that to his men.

To see Dutch again would've been great but it's highly unlikely it'll ever happen.

I still maintain that one of my biggest dissapointments was that they couldnt ever get Arnie (while still in his prime sumwhat) to return to the franchise to play Dutch's twin brother, Detective Schaefer.

-I've just read a Wiki entry that says that Arnie was asked to reprise the role of Dutch in Predator 2. When he declined (as he was due to film T2) they changed the character and gave the role to Gary Busey(?!)

I never knew that; to be honest.

When I think of it now, I get a kick of imagining Dutch in place of Keyes in P2. He'd woudlve been like the franchises version of Ahab; his past experience with the Predator having made him absolutely cuckoo, with a major mad-on for bagging a hunter.

Arnie wouldve had fun with that, methinks.

Me too, but I think they wouldve give Dutch a better send-off than that, had they done it at all.

Keyes was certainly no Dutch.

The Dutch's son idea isn't THAT bad. He could talk about how his Dad went crazy/died talking about an alien he killed. Or is that too T3-ish?

I like the idea of a medieval setting or some Civil War era that shows how long they've been hunting for trophies.

The Iraq idea would even be better. After all, the Predator pops up in the midst of heat and violence. Have a whole party show up to do some major hunting. I would love to see them take on the Marines . . . after collecting a few al Qaeda skulls, of course. t:

What aboot a rogue Predator comes to Earth and just starts killing everyone he sees, so they send a Predator to stop him?

And he teams up with a really hot chick with huge bazzoobs.

haha, ya, that is a interesting take on it. A rogue predator goes ape-****,inwhich angers the elders.
Ya know theres probably a code of conduct that they must follow;no children,pregnant women,sickly people etc..but the rogue pred just goes hannible lector on them. So,they send a team of predators to hunt him,as he can be a elite predator so they need more than 1 to take him down.

so, if they make the Prison a huge place, and dark too, then it's ok for me.

Maybe a huge lab... like, the Predator is finally captured, but he breaks free, and starts killing the scientist, and military on the lab... And he would kill a lot without his weapons...
