When I look at the pictures, it looks this space jockey in the last shot has some tentacle around his neck, some way as the unfortunate person (I forgot his name) has when the snake thing enters his mouth...

Did I forget to mention that this is my most anticipated movie of the year? I mention it again, I can't wait for this damn movie. I even finally got around to buying Alien and Aliens because I was so excited.

It's pretty high up there for me too. Probably my #2.

Damn the Space Jockey looks so big and imposing. This is #1 on my watch list for this summer

His Southern accent still sounds a bit dodgy to me but it doesn't matter. The movie will still be awesome and Elba will be badass in it.

He does well enough, but that's one of those accents people assume all sounds the same when it's actually more nuanced than just a bunch of "ya'lls" and no "ing" at the end of your words.

Why does the SJ from Alien look soooo much bigger?

That scene of the "snake" going down his throat is horrific in an awesome way. Classic Alien sexual-metaphor mixed with the classic Alien thing of something going in or out of you in a painful and creepy way...

From the previous page translated interviews:

That's not the space jockey, that's "the juggernaut." Whatever the heck that means. Another creature entirely.

I noticed the accent thing too but I'm just going to ignore.

He's a brit so he probably thinks that all people from the south sound like that. I don't have a good ear for accents either so I'm not criticizing too much. I can't tell which region he is from either so I'd **** up his accent.

I'm from Ohio and my folks are from West Virgina and their folks were from somewhere in the south, I forget where so I hear southern type accents all the time. He is over doing it but it's not a big deal.

I look at that gif and imagine Whitney Houston's 'I wanna dance with somebody' playing.

Anyone try the memory game at he Weyland industries website under careers? I wonder if it unlocks anything?

I'm not watching anymore spots or anything else. Good thing they are not fully revealing the jockeys face I wanna see that fresh in the theater. Its funny that some people still think that the guy fighting/struggling with shaw is a mutated crew member and not the space jockey, I guess they're still in denial that the jockey is a very human looking guy and not a bizarre monster. Although I'm sure well get big monsters too so its a win win for everyone, can't wait too get a closer look at the jockeys torso to appreciate all the biomechanical details of his awesome suit.

I listened to a soundtrack preview. Most of it is basically just bunch of ambient sounds mixed in with generic beats. Really pales in comparison to the score for A L I E N. I was hoping for a more memorable soundtrack. :csad:

Just for once, can we get a soundtrack in a movie that actually has a solid composer composing a grandiose, atmospheric score with classical instruments, without all the electronic synth and beats crap added into it? It's like almost every single score nowadays has to sound like a Han Zimmer made it. And I don't mean that in a good way.

urgh I ****ing reflex gagged loudly just now when I saw that. better here than in the theater I guess, how embarrassing would that be?

Wow, you must be super straight.

Is this TV spot up on YouTube or anywhere else? I can't access it from the link above.

Wtf is the Juggernaut!? That's what I want to know! Thing looks like it could rip you limb from limb!
