Wow, Guy is awesome. So excited for Ridley's return to sci-fi.

This could have been a cameo they might have wanted to keep under wraps. Nevertheless I'm excited for this.

Prometheus can't come quick enough. Eagerly awaiting set photos!

Swedish newspaper Expressen has posted another article about Prometheus.
While most of Expressen's article quotes many of the Michael Fassbender and Noomi Rapace interviews we've already heard in the past, it does add a couple of new interesting facts.

Expressen asked Noomi Rapace if Prometheus will have the same shock value as Ridley Scott's first sci-fi, Alien:
"Yes, in a way. What I like about the Alien movies is that they take place in space where everything is strange, but at the same time the main characters are very human and down to earth. It's what Ridley created and it's the same thing here. I think that we'll finally get to see that again in this movie."
Expressen also managed to have a quick chat with Michael Fassbender in the middle of his hectic schedule at Pinewood Studios. They asked him what the difference is between working on Prometheus and his previous projects:
"The biggest difference is how much time you get to make every scene absolutely right. I recently played in a new Steve McQueen movie ("Shame"), and the whole shoot took five weeks. Prometheus is going to take four months. In the McQueen movie we shot 20 pages of the script a day. In Prometheus we're shooting just one page a day."
When asked about his first day on the Prometheus set, Fassbender says:
"One of the biggest things you notice is how many people there are all over the place on set. There are so many people! But the movie is costing about $150 million. The McQueen movie cost $5 million."

Why would there be a cameo of Guy Pierce? He has nothing to do with the Alien series....

Great news, he is a superb actor, this just gets me more excited, one hell of a director, writer, and a bunch of great actors. Count me in.

Ridley Scott scouting film locations for Prometheus in Iceland.

According to the media here in Iceland, director Ridley Scott has been scouting out film locations for upcoming sci-fi flick Prometheus here in Iceland.

Ridley Scott and entourage arrived here on Friday, April 29th on a private jet and were met by staff from True North, a production and service company for the film and television industry that specializes in delivering production services to companies filming in Iceland.

They went straight to a helicopter that took them to possible film locations in the south. On Saturday, April 30th they went to Akureyri, the biggest city in North Iceland, to scout out further locations.

I would love to see some set pictures soon. I wonder if Fox will really try to hype this up and give us a Teaser a year before its released like Nolan films have done. I would love that.

But then there wont be anything on that teaser.

But then there wont be anything on that teaser.

By June I'm sure they will have some stuff. And I would not mind a teaser that was some what similar to the Alien teaser of 1979, with the egg and creepy music. I would not mind if it did not have actual footage.

Guy Pearce

Oh yeah can a mod change the name of this thread to Prometheus or something?

All I need is something brief for a teaser.

The fact that it took Guy Pearce actually physically rocking up to set on his first day of work speaks wonders of the security of this film.

I truly think they're brewing something special.

Guy Pearce is indeed awesome.

What is this film actually about though? The origin of the Xenomorphs and what not? Or just a movie set in the same universe?
