OK everyone, with the Tempe premiere tonight, the preview screenings & international releases this week, it's time for your reviews of the film.

Please post all reviews here, do not start individual threads for reviews.

Also, this is for reviews of the FINISHED version of the film. No reviews of the workprint on this thread.

And you're free to post spoilers, so anyone still wanting to avoid them, consider yourselves officially warned.

Hope to see some reviews soon!

LOL! I voted without reading the post. My bad.

Giving Wolverine a 9/10. It would be a 10, but -1 for The Blob. :woot: Saw the finished version at a charity screening tonight on the big screen. Very impressive and highly enjoyable. Go see it.

^I think it'll settle in the 50% range on RT, just like TF & X3.

lmao i just new "Very Poor" would the most voted on

Why do I have the feeling that people who are voting on this poll haven't seen the movie.

I've seen the movie,( Dont give me that BS. It IS the movie) but I havent rated....I will on May 1st. But it'll be a 5.

I've seen the movie and its alright, but it could of been way better. Theatrical Version

That is a really lame comment. Maybe the leak is the movie in general, maybe they've added some stuff to make it better. Maybe, maybe not. You can't rate it until you've seen the finished product. And that's a fact. I hate people who say things like that until they've actually seen it!

I'll see it tomorrow. And even though I've seen the leak. I'll be open minded and go and enjoy it. Because that's the only reason movies exist, to entertain people.

I'll let you know Thursday night, or Friday. :)

 exactly... but your NOT going to convince people like CP... they just dont get it, lol.

Oh well!

Why even make this poll until after there's a venue for people to see it, beyond insiders and a premiere that hasn't happened yet?

Oh well, I'm glad someone agrees with me. Makes me a little happier. :) Can't convince everyone. Some people are just so narrow-minded they can't see beyond the comic story. I can, and that's why I will enjoy it. Look out for my review tomorrow! :D

The Leaked Version is not the movie.
Technically, it is. A few cgi effects, a score, and a few additional scenes are gonna change that much.

Though, I agree you cant really rate the film as a whole based on the work print, you can definetly rate the writing and actin,g but thats about it.

I'll tell you how I feel when the movie actually comes out. Until then, unless you've seen the theatrical version, I think its unfair to judge it based on something that is unfinished.

Thanks for agreeing with me ;)

My review....

HUGH JACKMAN'S latest movie, X-Men Origins: Wolverine, has now hit the big screen in its full and finished form after weeks of controversy over an illegal leak of the film.

The leak prompted anger from 20th Century Fox, heartbreak from Jackman and a mixed response from comic book enthusiasts who couldn't resist viewing the rough cut - and it turned superhero fan forums into spoiler-infested waters that needed careful navigation.

So how does the completed film bear up on the big screen? Please be aware there are spoilers in this review if you click reading to the next page...

And the rest of it (with a few spoilers but I tried not to give everything away) is here:
http://blogs.coventrytelegraph.net/thegeekfiles/2009/04/wolverine-review.html

Rating: 7 out of 10 (I might stretch to 7.5 if it was an option!)

What did you give X3 out of curiousity...

I would give X3 about the same and X2 an 8 or 8.5

I'm not a rabid hater of X3 like some on here, i expect the films to be different in tone as is to be likely when new people come in to inherit the baggage of previous movies.

Some parts of X3 were better than this, some weren't. The action here is more accomplished than X3, the warmth/substance is less than X3.

It's just my view, you'll have to make up your own mind.
