Excellent voice over

Cons:

Lol at the 1/10 voters

I think the trailer was utter garbage. I watched it once and have no desire to ever watch it again. I don't know what that was but that is NOT the Fantastic Four. Thanks Fox for screwing the FF 4-ever. Trank can jump off a cliff for all I care with his arrogant "vision". I can't believe people are actually supporting this. This film is FFINO for FFFINO (Fantastic Four Fans In Name Only).

We're at an average of about 6.06 after 135 responses if anybody is interested.

Makes sense imo. It's nothing amazing but it's decent. If you see it just as a movie and not as a FF movie,a 6 is the most logical vote unless you are a hater or a FoxFanboy.

Even John Campea and big Fantastic Four fan Jon Schnepp (from AMC) like the trailer:

Campea's and Schnepp also make it sound like most, if not all of the bad BTS talk we had heard were pretty much whiney assed fanboy bovine excrement rumors that a big segment of FF fans WANTED to believe but actually had no basis in reality.

To be fair, Age of Ultron isn't exactly looking good so far. Not to me anyway.

If I remember correctly I gave Aou's trailer a 6 while I gave Ant Man a 5.... but of course thats a big issue here for some people. Lol. I am not gonna bother defending myself. I just love X-Men and Fantastic Four!

And I dont hate MCU. I just dont care about it for me to hate it. MCU is just okay in my book just like DC.

That is why your kind of pointed out.

according to rumors trank and cast were going to be axed last spring.and again some people went after Trank again yet he's still very much on film.

It wouldn't be difficult to believe that is true

Where there's smoke there's fire. I never fully bought the idea that he trashed a house or showed up to set inebriated, but I'll definitely never buy the idea that Fox intentionally held off from promoting this film to build up hype. I still believe this was a troubled production that Fox has trepidations about, the idea that Trank didn't "want to take a picture of a single paint stroke" is baloney. That entire interview screams of damage control.

How hard is it to have an intern draft a press release saying "Hey, those rumors you heard? Didn't happen." and email it off to Variety or THR?

Speaks volumes. And even if it wasn't true, leaving it out there to fester isn't a very smart move.

Lol true. Heck maybe not even that, just give the film an official title. Make an official casting announcement. Give us a title card or a logo. Give us a production still or concept art, anything. Literally anything.
But nope, everything's honky dory over at Fox! Nothing to see here folks, just keep moving along and don't ask any questions.

Am I the only one who noticed that everything we've seen since Trank has come out of hiding has featured Trank AND Kinberg?

I would like to see Trank speak without someone from the studio holding his leash.

We may never hear the full story, but I'd be amazed if things are and have been as peachy keen as Kinberg and Trank are trying to portray in their public appearances.

It's very convienent how they've made sure to address nearly everything, even Tranq's twitter being shut down long ago.

"Oh I have this new twitter account totally unrelated to the old one, but I never use it because my corporate overlords would be angry with me posting more smartass dog pics it isn't my thing, man."

Six months for them to give us a picture of Trank sitting in a chair.

I gave the trailer a 9. It was the perfect teaser to set the new tone of the Fantastic Four(which I like). I really don't get some of the hate the TEASER trailer is getting. It is not a Fantastic Four film??? Hello!! They showed Reed stretching, Johnny flaming on, Ben turning into the Thing and Sue using her force field. Johnny and Sue seems to be siblings(by adoption, in this day in age why that would be a problem)

I'm pretty sure that is the FF. It does not have to be a direct page to screen. Didn't we have that with the first two movies? Didn't work out so well, so they're trying something new which I appreciate. I thought this was way better and more interesting than the Ant-Man teaser trailer(I thought it was good).

Was debating giving it a 7 because I had low expectations. It does look like a professionally made film. However, the first two thirds look like it could be another movie such as Super-8 (or a Goonies sequel...) so I opted for a 6. The shot of the Thing looks interesting, and the energy beam looks potentially fantastic. I need a better trailer before I am convinced to take my son to the theater.

I have errands to run, but I am leaving this note: if you guys don't stop insulting each other, I will be back later and hand out PLENTY of infractions and probations. So, cut the grade school clique crap out.

Entirely your choice if you want to continue discussing the movie anytime soon or not.

That was my thought as well. But I believe there was a rush to get this trailer out, and do damage control. The fact that they did a director commentary on a Teaser trailer pretty much confirms that. It was surreal watching that.

How many full trailers have ever bothered with commentary let alone teasers?
