The girl i like has a boyfriend...but she still kinda flirts with me..She says she really likes her boyfriend, yet at the same time is completly apathetic about this relationship. I don't know if it's 100% flirting, persay...but we talk on the phone alot, text like every day, she laughs at literally ALL my jokes, calls me cute alot and stuff like that, and she's always telling people about me.

So...what's even going on? I'm so lost :dry:

We don't get many of them in England. Best she could hope for is albino or ginger.
 
If this other dude is constantly being berated by her, but he's still getting the ass, you already know what's going on.
 
So like 3 1/2 years ago when I started work there was this girl who worked there who was amazing. Like just over all amazing. She left about 2 1/2 years ago and it sucked to see her go, but people move on and get new jobs.

Last September she appeared at a wedding of a woman at work and we talked and had a laugh and she said she missed me and I said I missed her and then she left the party thing. Later on that night I was talking to this couple who I hadn't seen in ages and they said they were going to try and set me up with her. Now everytime I see them the woman keeps going on about setting me up with her and the guy keeps saying that they know we like each other and we're just too stupid to do anything about it. This is I asked the girls friend who still works with me for her number ages ago and she said she'd ask her if it was alright to give it to me and she's never gotten back to me, which suggets to me she doesn't actually like me...

Anyhow, she's going to be at the wedding of this couple that keeps going on about setting us up and I'm wondering, what should I do?

On point, I've dated three girls with kids. All were super cool about it and made time to get to know me, without letting the mother in her take over and give excuses.

One was just a fling to start, and it bothered me that she spend soooo much time acting like she was 24. Don't get me wrong, I had a blast with her. But there came a time when I had to ask myself "this chick has two kids at home, but she will come over to my house, get a little drunk, and act like a Catholic high school freak." I didn't make a huge thing of it, just told her I didn't think things would work out.

Damn, that sounds exactly like what I went through! I remember a few nights I had to drag her drunk ass home. I brought up the fact that maybe she shouldn't drink so much anymore and she got pissed. Things snowballed and ended after that. I'm glad I'm out of the relationship, but I do miss the kids. I thought they were fun little runts.

That would have been your opportunity to ask her if she would like to go for a coffee or something. That way if she was interested she would have given her number to you and you could have proceeded at your leisure without waiting for your friends to do something you very well could. I know its hard but you never really know unless you try.

I say at this next wedding forget involving the other people and just go for it. The worst you get out of it is that she is not interested and you go on with your life knowing she wasn't interested and not wondering if your friends are going to hook you up with her. The only thing getting in your way right now is yourself.
 
So do Long Distance Relationships work? Girlfriend is going to Venezuela in a few months for a year, so I'm wondering what I'm going to do :csad:
