Rogue One Rogue One vs. The Force Awakens

I thought it was ok to go that way. There is nothing overtly objectionable about it. But a strong rewatchable movie it does not make. As I said, once in a good long while.

 

Rouge one should have started with a Story crawl covering the back ground story... title and then cut to the Jyn jail break

cut out the Saw alien truth blob

also only have Leia shown from behind

other than that ... it’s by far the best of the Disney movies
Not only does it feel the most Starwars aesthetically, but it has the best fan moments that actually suit the story and is the most complete story

closely followed by TFA and Solo

 

Love love love Rogue one. It gets better with every viewing.

 

While I love both of these movies, I certainly didn't think they were going to be the best we got under Disney come 2020. Such wasted potential. Though I do feel Solo is underrated.
