Kinberg said the timeline has been altered. We could very well see Rogue pushed to the original Core Four. She was already part of the Original 5 and with all the fan backlash over her being cut and FOX releasing a special Rogue Edition of DOFP.

It would be smart for them to bring in a new teen Rogue to grow up with Storm, Jean and Cyclops.

May not happen but I find it foolish for them not to include this huge fan favorite.

The thing is we already know that in the future, she'll still end up as Anna Paquin.

Unless you want the audience to be confused on why Rogue is suddenly in the same age / generation as Cyclops/Jean/Storm.

I want to see Rogue again but I don't want them to make another continuity error just so she could show up.

Rogue is not going to be In Apocalypse.The ending of DOFP makes it clear inless they revisit future again her,Iceman,Kitty,Colossus aren't going to be seen anytime soon again.

Paquin would portray her if they created a futuristic X5 (around 2020 or so).


I would actually look forward to something fresh like this. After all, they can play with the new timeline and recreate some of the OT's miswritten characters correctly.

It might be cool to see a different origin story to Rogue but you know they could always skip that and just move forward with the adult version that we already saw in DOFP.

Timeline has been modified at the point of 1973. It has been altered by Wolverine from future in 1973 so if some characters could be born earlier they would be kids in Apocalyspe.

Moreover, end of DOPF has shown us Rogue Iceman Colossus Kitty in newtimeline with same age than those from original timeline.
So Rogue with the same generations than Cyke-Jean is impossible.

Kinberg said Apocalypse will be the third film of the prequel trilogy (FC and DOFP) So DOFP isnt considered as X4 but more First Class 2

In original timeline, Anna Pauqin played Rogue as teen and her future 2023' version. So according to me there is no reasons to recast Rogue as teen.

When Kinberg said some characters could be born earlier, it concerns most Iceman Rogue Colossus Kitty or Angel. Cyclops Storm Jean or Gambit are born before 1973.

Yes Kinberg said that but I think we can scratch Iceman, Colossus, Kitty and Rogue off the list since they didn't look as old as Jean/Storm/Cyclops in the new future, right. And I doubt they would just ignore that scene and just introduce a teen version of them in Apocalypse.
