I teared up a bit when you find out that the one girl who had her son with her all the time died and her son grew up and was looking at the picture of his mom on the wall at the Hall of Fame.When they were playing baseball in A League of Their Own to commemorate those that have passed was sad.
Anthony Hopkins' character moves on in Meet Joe Black.
A lot of these deaths were inspiring more than anything else.

Kong in Peter Jackson's King Kong. Definitely the one that stands out above all others to me.
Outside of ones that have already been mentioned, I think the one death scene I've seen lately that's gotten to me wasGeorge Kirk in the new "Star Trek"...at least more so than the other major death in the film.
