Sarah Michelle Gellar returns to tv in The Ringer

yay. Secret Circle shouldnt be far behind. CW needs to do damage control though since there has to be a reason why people dont watch the network. But Ringer/SC are doing really good in the dvr number dept.

The new guy is still dealing with the aftermath of Dawn Ostroff's ****-ups, so it could take awhile for him to legitimize things. She was responsible for all the pilots for this past pilot season, and I believe she even played a role in what got picked up. So I'm glad Pedowitz flushed that piece of crap called H8R down the drain.

They need to try to get their sunday nights a line-up and probably should try to make their wednesdays into comedy night even though abc already filled that.

I'm glad Bridget came clean with Gemma, there was no way they could keep this going on without her having an ally. I'm intrigued by what the real Shiv is doing in Paris and who is on the other end of that phone.

Didn't see Gemma's death coming. I thought Gemma was going to be Bridget's confidante and ally at first, but then from the way she reacted, it seemed as if things weren't going to go as smoothly. I suppose if she was going to tell all, then probably the only way to get round that would be to kill her off. How long though before people discover she is missing and that Henry has killed her?

Unless we find out next week that it isn't her blood on his wall but that he threw a glass of cranberry juice or bottle of ketchup.

Or that someone else killed her. I thought they were definitely going the friends route until Henry blabbed that he'd had the convo with Shiv, but in truth I'd prefer they keep Gemma in as I think Bridgette needs an ally for the show and the daughter hopefully wont be it.

The ally could be the potential sponsor from NA. He's an objective outsider who didn't know Siobhan so he wouldn't feel deceived or betrayed by Bridget's charade.

HOLY CRAP! Gemma died? My DVR cut the episode short so I missed the ending. Wow! I never would have expected her to die.

On a side note, the actress that plays Gemma reminds me of a grown up Blossom, from back in the day.

Well, we don't know for sure, but it certainly seems that way. There was a bloody handprint on the wall and another bloody stain that Henry was cleaning up when Andrew got to their place.

There have been plenty of twists and turns in this series, but sometimes not everything should be a twist. It would be annoying to find out it was a bottle of ketchup responsible for that or that Henry had been painting.

Of course, it could be someone else that Henry has killed. I don't know who. Maybe his agent or publisher? That would be a stretch though.

But if Gemma hasn't died, then she'll reveal Bridget's secret. Didn't Bridget think that Henry might tell Gemma that she spoke to him and that he might respond in this way and not let her take the kids away from him?

Well, yeah, a ketchup stain would be a lame conclusion, but we don't know for certain that she is in fact dead or that it was Henry that did it. Maybe she's pulling a Siobhan and makes it look like she's dead as a way to exact revenge on Henry. Maybe she's just injured. Maybe someone else killed her and is setting Henry up.

Is Gemma really dead on Ringer? — Marcus
NATALIE:
It sure looks that way, huh? But... no, she isn't. In possibly related news, Bridget's new stand-in sponsor while Malcolm is being drugged to high heaven? He may not be such a good guy. "Appearances are deceiving," executive producer Eric Charmelo says. "Everybody... has this duplicitous nature. Anyone and everyone is suspect and that's intentional."

Now what are they going to pull? This is starting to feel very soapish.

Starting? Come on. :o

I was just about to say the NA guy is probably a plant from the gangster guy......

There was an interview with the guy playing Henry and he implied that the show will make you think that it's even possible that Bridget (posing as Siobhan) killed Gemma (if she was in fact killed).

That's..... a very odd poster.

So, once again Siobhan's involved. I was actually thinking that Gemma cut her hand and made it look like she made a struggle, then disappeared to make Henry look bad, but I guess not.

And it's great to see Logan Echolls again. :awesome::up:

They're really making some of these mysteries quite interesting. That's good for hopefully pulling in more viewers, which seems to be working since the ratings have gone up a little again this week, to 1.8 from 1.7 last week.

And funny that the former Logan Echolls is now breaking up school fights. :funny:

He looked familiar. Where have we seen him before?

EDIT: Nevermind. I know where I've seen him before. He played a psychopathic serial killer on Lie To Me.
