Yeah, I do like the necklace as well.

Is the 4th film in the Halloween series highly regarded? I wonder if history will repeat the same thing with the Scream franchise.

Its not nearly as well regarded as the first two, but it is one of the better sequel. Fun Fact: Halloween 4 is the first one to take things "up a notch" from what was established in the first two. The reason for this is that after part 2, that series was supposed to become a horror anthology, but after the general public hated what was tried with Halloween 3 failed, they went back to Halloween and had to bring it back big.

Not as much as the first 2, but it was very well recieved by fans. One of the beste sequels of the franchise in alot of peoples minds, right under Halloween II (1981). One of my favorite things about the film is the atmosphere.

Yeah, originally John Carpenter wanted to make the Halloween franchise a different film each film. Even though I'm really happy we got the Micahel Myers franchise, iI still think that Carpenters idea was brilliant. If they would have called Halloween II just Season Of The Witch, they could have possibly made the type of franchise John wanted with Season of the Witch.

I still have a big crush on Neve. She has that girl next door thing going for her. Someone in high school who you'd not just want to shag but also be in a relationship with.

Sarah Michelle Gellar was my favorite. :hrt:

She just didn't get enough time... :csad:

Well one of the detectives says to Dewey "you were almost charcoal " last night but I know what you mean. I watched the Scream 3 with commentary and they admit that it was rushed.
I was always wondering how Randy's sister got on set ( I was thinking maybe she could of been a film adviser about woodsboro) but they basically say they didn't have much time to explain it. Also the thing with Roman's pulse in the coffin was initatially explained by him but they removed it so the scene would flow better.
I was surprised to find out one of the best scenes in the movie - Sid's return to Woodsboro-was written on set.

Sid really re-living the first film on that set was amazing.

The only things that "grate my gears" in Scream 3 is;

-Exploding house (said already)
-Gale checking pulse when he wasn't dead, if she just didn't check it - Roman's death would have been perfect to hide his agenda
-Randy Tape was too much of a stretch
-The dumb "Maureen" scratching at Sid's window in her dream
-Roman saying "4 years ago..." he told Billy to kill Maureen when it was 5 at best

September 1994 - Maureen's death
September 1995 - Woodsboro Murders
August 1997 - Windsor College Murders (Pledge Week, ~2 years later "per Gale")
Summer 1999 - Hollywood Murder's (Stab 3 was coming out in Summer 2000)

Overall, I can enjoy and respect "Scream 3" Roman being behind everything, even though it was a little goofy. But, SCRE4M will be our successor if not Wes' "sorry" for the third film, which is fine by me since this one looks amazing...

I thought the events of the first Scream occured in October of 1996? Has the official timeline been stated anywhere? I go by the Scream wikia's timeline.

Well on the Scream Forums we are in a debate over 95 or 96, but with the blu-rays we've noticed that Stu's calendar say September. I only say 95 because if Hollywood is for sure sometime in 1999 then you have to account for STAB 2 in 98 and that brings us to 1997 for STAB 1 (Windsor College Murders) and Gale told someone in Scream 2 that Woodsboro was "2 years" ago, so 1995ish...

It's all very hard because Scream and Scream 2 were only a year between each other when in the films they are atleast 2...

Though I liked the touch of her still wearing the letters necklace Derek gave her.

That was all Neve's idea too.. I don;t know what it is about her but I've got a celebrity crush..

It's probably not highly regarded as much as the first two but it's definitely one of the better ones. IIRC part five was a step down

In that case the wikia should probably update the timeline to include this information, as some light has now been shed on the timeframe.

Just a heads up to any of you who visit IMDB, avoid it like the plague. There's lots of idiots putting major spoilers in thread titles!

I don't know if this is a spoiler but I'll put it in tags anyway....

From what I've read, there is a secret ending that pre-screenings haven't seen and won't be shown until the 15th.

I thought she looked gorgeous with short hair in 2:

YES! I agree 100000000%.

I usually hate short hair on girls. Like, it's a deal breaker for me. But on Neve in S2? BEAUTIFUL.

I was just watching S2 last night and I really think it's a better film than the 1st.

1 just gets ridiculous with some of the things they do.
- Ghostface getting into Himbry's office so fast and through some impossible route.
- Ghostface in the bushes.
- Ghostface IN THE SUPERMARKET.

Idk, 2 is just better structured and paced IMO. And the impact of Randy's death was just so....... Epic. Tragic, but epic.

As far as 3 goes - it just bores me until Sid shows back up in Hollywood. Then I'm ok with it.

4 - as long as the killer isn't Dewey, I'm ok with whoever they choose. Dewy should never be the killer. Ever. (I'm avoiding all spoiler tags and spoilers in general so please no spoiler responses or ".......um......" like comments. lol thanks fellas)

PS: My Uninformed guess as to who the killer is from a pure gut instinct. Just putting in spoiler tags for the hell of it. But like i said, I know no spoilers and this is completley just gut instinct.

PS: My natural gut instinct that is UNINFORMED completley - The only character I'm going to be watching the whole movie is Mary Shelton. Idk - she just seems so out of place to me. But like I said, that's just my natural gut instinct.

My uninformed, spoiler free guess is the Adam Brody character.

Any more guesses as to who the killer or killers are? I would like to hear! The movie is drawing closer!

Billy
Stu
Mickey
Ms. Loomis
Roman

and Ross Hoss.

If he was a killer they should have given him a better name. lol

Some of it is true, some of it is false. Everyone STAY AWAY REGARDLESS :)

Agreed. S2 is my fav as well.

Anna Paquin :awesome:

I wonder if there's any significance with the name Hoss? We got Perkins, Marnie, Rebecca. All Alfred Hitchcock names.

I wonder if there are multiple killers? Not just one, or two, but like three or four. I think that would be cool.

Everyone but the main three kills somebody as Ghost Face. How about that

I've always wanted a SCREAM movie where two people are acting separately (almost in a contest against each other) the whole film as Ghostface.

Maybe Dewey is faking his spine injury and maybe he turns out to be the killer? Just a thought.
