Ok, we know Mrs Loomis was the Ghostface in the van who killed Randy, right? You'll recall when the killer starts playing all the footage of the victim stalking in the Film School in front of Gale and Dewey, Randy's murder was among the footage. So Mrs Loomis obviously knows how to operate a camera.

Not that it's rocket science to use a hand held camera. The camera angles used in the footage were not exactly stellar lol. Any regular joe could have filmed that. It's not like Mickey couldn't have given Mrs Loomis a couple of tips on how to use a hand held camera.

Just watched it myself. Randy is separate from the entrance. Mickey enters with Derek. So it's safe to assume they came together.

So either way she DEFINITELY attacked Sid in the house.

I can see why you would think that about the school. It seems more plausible she was the one chasing Dewey&Gale . I wonder sometimes if the film makers look at it the same way we do.

Yeah same haha. I guess it doesn't all completely have to make sense, but the reason I say she was chasing Dewey/Gale is because Mickey states when he takes off the mask that Sidney's fast, implying that she had just outrun him. Sidney did run off from Ghostfact after Hallie was killed, so that's my thinking on that. Mickey chased after Sid/Hallie as Mrs. Loomis went after Gale/Dewey.

I doubt it would be a meet up. There's a lot at risk here if Mickey gets injured/blood on him while killing Cici. The guys are expected at the party. Ms. Loomis, on the other hand really doesn't HAVE to be around if she doesn't want to be.

Her being there first on the reporting thing screams to me "They always return to the scene of the crime."

And while we know Mickey goes with the party to see, I think the fact that the film makers chose to SHOW her back there speaks volumes.

That's exactly what they do is create red herrings and such. In the Scream 2 director's commentary they say the original plan was to zoom to a tower that had the third killer. Of course that never came to fruition but it tells you where they stand a little bit.

Well, she's not really a reporter. Although if her line to Gale about being at her Chicago seminar a year ago is to be believed, she'd been playing this reporter charade for quite a while.

But that's beside the point. Like I said, operating a hand held camera is not difficult, and Mickey could easily have shown her how to handle one like an expert.

She was only after the Woodsboro survivors. Noone else. She was only out for revenge. Now she may have assisted in planning the murders, such as her being at Cici's scene, but that was only to frame Mickey.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure she had to cover for Mickey as long as she could to get time to go after the original survivors. And so providing him with the alibi of the party was a good way to support that.

She did want the survivors, yes. But she also fully planned on getting away with it all. Killing other people to aid in the greater purpose is well within her means.
