Scream 4!!!!!

Mickey killed Cici Cooper. He wasn't always at the party, he arrives at the PARTY AFTER the fact of Cici's death. There's a scene where someone asks him where he was. Mrs. Loomis didn't give a crap about Mickey's motive. She just wanted revenge. Gale was the attended target when she killed Randy. It was her phone Randy was on. Mrs. Loomis just wanted the people who killed her son dead.

Mrs. Loomis killed Randy, Mickey, and attacked Sidney in the sorority house. That's all she did.
Hmmm, you may have a point afterall. :word:

Would anybody be upset if the new killings and twist dug something up from the Maureen Prescott saga? Or do you feel that should all be left alone now?
I'd prefer the new killings and twist stayed away from Maureen, I mean god god, what else could that woman have done, but you know it all depends on how it was executed if it did.

Still Mickey killed Cici. Cici undermined him in class. He was the one with the motive of mimicking the Woodsboro murders. She was a part of that. Mrs. Loomis didn't give a crap about some blonde girl named similar to Casey Becker.

Also no, this isn't film class. :p

What she says to him in class has nothing to do with why he killed her. It's simply just her name. Just happened to work out that way.... cuz they re-shot that scene with her. Instead of keeping it in the theater like originally done.

Oh, I know, I just bought what happened in class up because you just know Mickey enjoyed it even more because he was a psycho film nerd who probably didn't like that kind of treatment.

Mrs Loomis masterminded this. I think it was her idea to mimic the Woodsboro murders. "It seems to me if the killer is repeating what happened in Woodsboro, then it's quite possible the killer could be from Woodsboro".

She's implying there that the killer from Woodsboro is the one who came up with this idea. She is the one from Woodsboro. Not Mickey.

I decided that I've switched over and I'm behind the "Mickey killed CiCi" train. Mostly because I just read on that scream board that someone linked to that Mickey was a left-handed killer. I just chose to believe that and be done with it.

However, I STILL say it was Mrs. Loomis who attacked Gale and Dewey.

edit: oops I meant to quote JustABill's post about his thoughts on who killed CiCi.

Maybe it made it sweeter for him to know she got killed? But to me he looked like he was relishing the debate in that scene.

Also - am I blocking something out or did they not cross-check phone call #'s in the sequel like they did in 1?

- Jow

It's never been mentioned in the sequels. The police investigation aspect really was downplayed in them. We got like one scene of Gale and Dewey figuring it out in Scream 2 and that was it. Kincaid and his partner were pretty useless in Scream 3.

No that was never mentioned. I guess they technically didn't know that CiCi received a call though, right? With Casey they knew because her parents could still hear her on the phone being killed.

But then again, CiCi's friends knew she was on the phone with someone and more likely than not, she threw the phone off the hook after Ghostface lunged after her. So, I guess the police just weren't as smart this go-around? Hah.

Scifi magazine has a spread on Scream 4. (There's also an interview with Rory Culkin.)

Remember the discussion between Gale, Dewey, and Randy before Randy's murder?

Gale: "Lets just assume the killer is repeating Woodsboro. Maybe we can figure out who's next"
Dewey: "That doesn't explain Sidney's attack. Sidney wasn't killed in Woodsboro"
Randy: "It wasn't for the lack of trying. The killer's trying to finish what was started"

That's Mrs Loomis' plan right there. Copycat the Woodsboro murders, and finish off those involved in the downfall of her son. She was after Gale in Randy's death scene, but Randy threw a spanner in the works by pissing her off by insulting Billy.

I don't know if I'd be upset but c'mon now , they should be capable of coming up with something else.

After this debate, I seriously can't wait for this movie to come out next week ..lol

Still can't believe I don't know **** about this movie plot wise. Plan to stay that way...only a week left.

A strong part of me wants to see Randy come back. I loved his character way too much and absolutely hated it when he was killed. It's a shame.

I gotta admit - arguing with u guys has amped up my excitement more than I thought it could... i thought i was capped. lol

For the record - I really hope we're done with Maureen / Billy Loomis stuff.

I hope it's more about the Stab movies and their impact on the world around them. Sure the original story plays a part in that, but.... let's move on. New generation...new rules... new motive.

Also.... next week we get to start debating who killed who in S4 (assuming there's 2+ killers lol)

Jow, they didn't cross number because they had no "suspects" like with Billy and the only times the killer used a phone was CiCi and Randy...

You're implying their mentality was...

"Maybe Omega Beta Zeta and Gale's phone..... eh. Let's not even bother."

??

That's some terrible ass police work if so. Instead - let's get Cotton on harassment.

Oh Dewey's dad.... time to retire. But if ya gotta go.... go with a smile.

And Sidney.

Oh, duh...

But that was tiny.

Also, you'd think for a school with multiple murders they'd had closed it down tighter other than the "not enforced" after hours rule in the third act. At least Himbry was smart enough to call of school after Sid's "fake" bathroom attack...

I think something will be brought up with Maureen in S4. We have Sidney's cousin and aunt in this one, so they probably will tell Sidney something about her mother.

But hopefully this is the last time Maureen is brought up. I think we have her complete story now, and I feel sorry for Sidney. She didn't do anything wrong to anybody. She just wants to be left alone. It isn't her fault that her mom was cheating and abandoning people.

I kinda want Sidney to die though. Or at least one of the main three. Just to make things look more realistic. Right now, they seem pretty invincible.

And Sidney.

That's right - Delta Lambda got a phone call too.

I say 3 matching numbers would have been a hit.

But if I recall correctly - there was never even a slight mention of the phones.

And while we're on the subject of never followed up on leads...

the instant message? Lord only knows which one of the killers sent that... if at all. But come on now... they HAD to have been able to trace which computer sent that.

Late 90's or not.

Fake?

O_o

nevermind... I don't wanna get into another gorram debate today. I'm exhausted.

When you cross numbers you need to have 2 sources.

I assume since Caller ID was prominent by Scream 2 (Sid had one), then Mickey and Mr. Loomis knew to use a ghost, pun-intended, or a "Drug" drop phone. Since, they knew from Stu/Billy's mistake of trying to re-direct Neil's cell.

But, sinceMickey wanted to get caught the cops could have just been dumb...
