Superman & Lois Season 1, Episode 3: "The Perks of Not Being A Wallflower" (SPOILERS)

Lois definitely feels like she's having a hard time adjusting to the lifestyle in Smallville, although I am glad that she is still determined to investigate to uncover the truth.

Im sure Darkseid would love to come to town and offer Jordan the thing he desires the most. He'd totally take him up on it.

Poor Daniel Cudmore, always playing some one off character that is "strong" with little to no substance.

Ok, so as I predicted just when we first learned of the episode titles, this was my least-favorite episode thus far, because it was too focused on the teens. Any episode more focused on the teens than Lois & Clark ain't gonna be my fave, lol.

Still, not bad by any stretch. Loved the opening super save sequence. Always enjoy seeing Supes just saving folks, and I especially love it when he has those little interactions with the public while doing so, like with that guy in the boat. That said, the action in this one (both in this sequence and the fight toward the end) did start to look a bit more CW. Hopefully that's not the beginning of a trend.

Nice to see how the Lois/Edge plot is gonna intertwine with the Superman plot. A random detail I enjoyed is when Lois's car was torched, just how unfazed she was by it compared to her boss. Like, this ain't her first rodeo. :funny:

Favorite thing by far in this episode is Tyler. Here we saw "dorky Clark at the Planet" from the pilot combine with the inherent dorkiness of Dad Clark to form a new SuperDadDork Clark and I am HERE FOR IT. This is the ultimate Clark Kent, far as I'm concerned. More please!!!!

I miss most of the episode due to feeding issues with the weather. I only caught the last 10 mins. I'll have to watch on the CW site.

Tyler Hoechlin's natural charm and overall likability definitely elevated this episode for me which is easily my least favorite so far. The guy is just a great Clark Kent and I think I look forward to his scenes the most now even if its just him giving speeches, because he is great at it.

Now, I still enjoyed it, but man did the teen melodrama drag it down for me, especially all the arguing between Jordan and Johnathan. I really hope there's less of that going forward or atleast not have it be the main focus of an entire episode, but I kind of doubt it honestly.

Loved everything with Supes though from the opening sequence with him saving people in other countries to the action sequence in the house where he's pretty much fighting Colossus which is actually pretty damn cool in a way. You could tell they were straining the budget this episode though which took me out of it a little at times, but it never runied the episode for me and hopefully it does improve.

Ok people online are saying our new Kryptonian is Lesla-Lar and if that's true it will crack me up. After all the whining people did over Supergirl "stealing" Superman villains and one of the first things this show does is crib a Supergirl villain. :funny:

EDIT: Ok yeah Stacey Farber's character is named "Leslie Larr" so that's feeling like a safe bet.
