Yes her ass would've been kicked like Sam's, but at least it would've showed how ballsy she is and she would've also managed to put up a fight against Brock where she would've been resourceful grabbing and using anything necessary to gain advantage. I do recall Sharon sparring with Crossbones in the comics.

No, she isn't. Check your facts (for example, in the marvel wiki). Sharon is inferior in training and physical abilities.

Facts from wiki? In the comics they were friends, worked together, and they were both just as good as each other where each has strengths over the other. Sharon fought Zemo ffs.

who knows how thus fight will go. They may get interrupted at some point and no one "wins". They may be like "why are we fighting, I like you" and then go get pizza.

I thought the same. EVC did say it was a small fight so maybe they get interrupted before the fight gets serious.

Not even close. Even if you dismiss the "artificial enhanced physiology" chapter of Natasha's page (as it doesn't seem to be canon in the MCU), her abilities section has several paragraphs instead of 2 sad, generic lines.

And having them together proves...? I could find a picture of Squirrel Girl standing besides Captain Marvel and it would tell nothing about the huge gap in their power levels.

[/FONT]SHIELD agents [FONT=&quot]May & Bobbi would certainly pose a challenge and possibly beat BW in a fight (arguably if both Mockingbird & BW had the same batons BW should lose as this is Bobbi's weapon of choice and she's an Avenger in the comics). I'm certain both May & Bobbi would have been able to shoot & fight the aliens in Avengers and robots in AoU as well.

But if the latest concept art is correct and BW is fighting a more battle experienced Ant-Man who has more control over his ability to shrink, then Sharon's the least of her worries .

I don't know what to think about Sharon Carter, Agent 13. Don't know much about SHIELD stuff, but I'm interesting. New faces always bring potential, so I'm up for that. With Fury maybe sorta/kinda gone, we have a hole to fill.

If Ant-Man has improved his control of his shrinking abilities and undertaken additional fighting training since we last saw him then no way should he be handed a thrashing (suggesting he's overpowered) by MCU Black Widow. Also, didn't Jeremy Renner hint at a convention earlier this year when asked about Clint & Natasha that this fight doesn't go well for her? [BLACKOUT]Something about her being thrown somewhere?[/BLACKOUT] As it's also hinted that [BLACKOUT]Scott may be Giant-Man [/BLACKOUT] in this scene I think anything is possible.

Anything can happen, but it could be that she starts fighting him, he shrinks down, she fights Hawkeye, Scott grows to giant man, and she gets flung off that way.

So in Star Wars TFA 7 Finn managed to forge strong connections in his scenes with Rey and Poe in under 5 minutes. I'm hoping that with good writing and chemistry between Evans and EVC this will be the case in their Staron scenes in CW. In TWS their first scene together was only 50 seconds long and was designed to be purposely awkward I felt.

SW placed a priority on bonding Finn/Poe/Rey and they made sure it got done quickly so they could move on with the action. Especially Poe because he had little screen time by comparison and needed to be remembered by the end of the movie, probably because he's being set up to be the romantic lead for 8 & 9. My guess is that Rey shapes up as the heroic lead and Finn the comic lead. Or some combination. All three did a fantastic job with their roles.

If they deem it a priority to develop Staron in earnest it will happen whether it's given 50 seconds or 5 minutes.

Poe a romantic lead with who? I thought it might be Finn/Rey, but maybe Rey sees Finn more as a brother/friend. Yeah Rey's the Luke in this sequel trilogy.

More well written Staron scenes would be great. But I fear that Sharon's presence has been reduced again (I could be wrong) since she was shown in the first concept arts like this one.

But then she's absent in the newer ones like this one.

Eh, people have been shipping that for ages because of the comics. DC writers play around with that couple-y stuff for them like Marvel does with Steve & Tony. *wink wink nudge nudge*

Like that comic where they have to share a bed on the cruise liner or the Alternate Universe one in Feudal Japan where they fall in love, though of course they make Bruce a woman like Marvel made Tony a woman in the universe where Steve & Tony marry to avoid Civil War.
