It's always a possibility, but given what the Russos have said, it's unlikely. And until I see a source for it other than people who are mad about Sharon Carter, I'm not likely to believe it.

Aside from The Winter Soldier and arguably GotG, no, not really.

Her role's definitely been reduced, but when the she's mentioned in response to a question of how and what will be front and center, it is peculiar that she's gone from what sounded like a main supporting to slightly more than what she got last time.

So it would appear that not much thought was put into Sharon's "introduction" from the beginning.

It doesn't much sound like you think much will or should come of Sharon, nor that she is a part of the movie you're concerned with. So what are you looking for, exactly?

And vice versa. Also this isn't the Sharon appreciation thread, so not everyone who comes on this thread needs to be a Sharon fan.

No one is bashing Sharon. Saying her supposed reduced role isn't as big of a deal as some think it is =/= not bashing. I've seen Sharon bashing in other threads, which people are entitled to do, but I don't see them do it on this thread.

I love Sharon Carter, and I get that a lot of her fans are upset (I included) but nothing is going to change and the least we should be doing is fighting about it.

I'm upset because when EVC was cast, she was cast as the female lead of TWS. For whatever reason, the Russos upped Scarlett's role and made her the female lead.

On the path to Cap 3 the writers, Feige and I believe the Russos themselves talked about Sharon's role in the film and that she will have more of a presence. This is also evident by her being in all the concept art. However, it looks like she was replaced by Wanda in the airport fight and possibly some other scenes. We have yet to see EVC in the outfit from all the promo photos and that worries me. I really doubt they would release so much merchandise with her wearing an outfit she doesn't wear in the film though so that is keeping me optimistic she plays a role in the airport battle or the end battle.

It feels as if she's been replaced twice now by two different female characters - in TWS by BW and in CW by SW. I love all the characters but I wish Sharon had a meatier role in a CA film (which should be her time to shine). I'm sure I will be happy with whatever we get, I'm just hopeful it's good and she has a role in Infinity Wars.

I've said nothing about any potential future of Sharon's character, so I have no idea where that accusation is coming from. I browse each character thread to see what's being discussed, to see any news, etc, such as the tweets posted earlier. Is that so wrong? No, it's not.
