Didn't they say a few years ago that they had fully plotted out both series 4 and 5?
Could you point me to these trailers? I don't remember seeing Irene in any trailer, or Hiddleston either. I could have just missed them though.Haven't seen much lately here, but I did see some trailers today that definitely show that Moriarty is back, and Tom Hiddleston is definitely in, as well as . . . Collin Farrell!
. . . and also it looks like Irene Adler is back - didn't look like flashbacks.
Really looking forward to Season 4.
DarthSkywalker, there are three promotional teasers here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QdtEVY7JAE8
Each teaser is titled so I am wondering if each one is for the three episode season?
Promo 1: "My Brother is a Murderer"
Promo 2: "You'd Be the First to Die"
Promo 3: "Something New"

Martin freeman and wife split after fifteen years

She also plays his wife Mary in Sherlock. Talk about awkward.
It's the start of Watson and Mary's life as parents and then having to do stuff they've done in real life
[BLACKOUT]Why did Mary's disk for Sherlock had written "did you miss me" on it. There is something off about it[/BLACKOUT]
Yeah, I didn't get that. It was [blackout] Mary's choice to stand in front of the bullet intended for Sherlock. It happened that quick Sherlock could hardly do anything. [/blackout]I really enjoyed this episode. That said, I am not crazy about [blackout]Watson blaming Sherlock for what happened. Mary was an assassin long before she met Holmes or John. Death would've been coming for her whether Sherlock was in their lives or not. Blaming Sherlock feels like an artificial way to stir up conflict. Unless it's less about blame and more about his own shame and hiding from the one man who could figure out that John came very close to having an affair days before his wife's death.[/blackout]
[blackout]Speaking of, the near affair did not sit well with me. There was insufficient payoff to make it emotionally satisfying. It just seemed to be a distraction that ultimately went no where and the only result of which is dampening the viewer's sympathy for John. Although I am guessing that woman will pop back up and tie into the overarching Moriarty plot somehow[/blackout]
Sherlock unintentionally [blackout]pushed the secretary's buttons with his arrogant take down of her which lead her to shoot at him. Mary said don't to Sherlock when he started doing it because she knew the reaction it would get from the secretary.[/blackout]
