If they want this movie done right, Batman must be in.

People can say whatever they want, but he is the brains of the team and keeps superfellows honest, 'cause he is their criticism.

So, he is part of the team. Better: he is the only point of balance of the whole team. Without him, they lack proportion, intelligence, self-criticism.

And more: messing with a structure that has proven itself both effective and successful is just nurturing failure. :batman:

If Batman is indeed in, as IESB is reporting now, then this better not interfere with Nolan's set of Batman movies! :cmad:

But you don't have to draw things in black and white. I personally dislike doing that.

i said IF.

First off, would you please not tell me how I feel? I'm a much better judge of how I feel than you are. Second, I don't hold Luthor in a better light than Batman. I never said anything to that regard. And how arrogant someone is doesn't equate to how good a person someone is. Second, I think your "grays of arrogance" bit is just meaningless play on semantics. Bruce is arrogant. He feels that he's incredibly good at what he does and doesn't need anyone else. I never said anything but that. I never said he thought he was the greatest or that other people were beneath him. You were the only person who said that, and honestly I've no clue where you got it from.

As for Luthor: I've never said that I hold him in a better light than Batman. I just said that I don't think it's "All about Luthor" for him. I don't think he's a hypocrite or motivated by greed. I think he honestly wants to help the world. His main flaw, however, is that he's willing to do anything, absolutely anything, to do it. Is he arrogant? Hell yeah. Does he have an ego? Undoubtebly. But he's genuine in his motives. He's sacrificed far too much not to be.

hey i'm just saying the obvious dude, reviewing our discussions in this thread and recalling the other discussions from other threads in other forums. i didnt want to have to say it right out, but i was willing to give you the benefit of the doubt, see if you've got an open mind to see things differently-- no matter what other posters say about you. but hey you see things your way, and despite that i hate seeing someone headed the wrong way, i'm gonna leave you to that.

now in an attempt to steer this back on topic, i shall quote the absolute truth:
of course... he's part of the Trinity.

Amen bro!

You stating the obvious would be fine, if you weren't wrong about it. I really don't apreciate people telling me how I feel, especially when what they tell me isn't how I feel. I don't hold Lex in a better light than Batman. I never said that Batman thought other people were beneath him. All of that was what you put in my mouth.
