Definitely.... Venom's never been the silent type. I mean c'mon, we gotta see his sense of humor and personal taunts toward Spider-Man.... its just classic.

As far as what his voice should sound like.... I think the vibrating double-voices thing started by the animated series is the obvious way to go. It's become the "standard" Venom voice by now, as evidenced by all the games, commercials, etc. that have had the character using the same technique.

Whatever Raimi decides. I think one would have to see it in live action to decide if it looks good or not. Depending on the director theyd leave it as is, alter the voice, or have it not talk at all.

that mouth looks incapable of producing words, unless he's going to be biting his tongue off and having it immediately regrow, which could seem weird.

try to make the "mmmm" sound without your bottom lip touching your top lip. I was rescently watching a documentary on the first patient to recieve a face transplant, and she can't really move her lips much, and because of that she is incapable of a lot of speech. Venom? he would have it ten times worse. The original design for Venom would be capable of speech, but that doesn't look half as cool as the later designs. He needs the tongue and teeth, and that would make speech impossible. talk once, and pay attention to the movements the muscles in your face make. your cheecks, your lips, the area surrounding your lips.

Venom coudln't make those movements. talking would look weird as hell.

with Venom's mouth he would be incapable of saying the words Spider-Man or his own name Venom. He would be incapable of saying We are Venom, because his bottom lip can not reach his top lip, and if they make it grow or stretch so that he is capable of it, it would look stupid.

They could still have him groan and say a few things with the fangs but when his really trying to threaten Peter, they could revel Brock's face.

That would also show his emotions and how they have changed. Revenge of the Sith for example was excellent, with relation to skywalker's face, in portraying his turn from good to evil.

that a good alternative. when the face is on just have him roar and not say much.

I'm not sure but it could possible work by just having his mouth not move much, and use camera tricks to convey that the voice is coming from with the face, and the words aren't actually being produced by movement of venom's mouth, but rather eddie brock's mouth underneath the symbiote.

or they could just leave out certain sounds and syllables. like when he says m, just have the sound of his teeth clinking together, since his lips can't touch. or he could say Sdider-(teeth closing sound)an, since he wont be able to make the p sound either.
