I digress I hope we get Lizard in SM4 and Arad to just sell more toys and cash his money-****ing ass in doesn't **** up the franchise and Venom character and rush him in so he can get the ultimate happy meal pay off. Hopefully Lizard in SM4 with a set-up for Venom in SM5.

Just my hope though.

I'm afraid that if Lizard isn't in SM3, he might get left out alltogether because of the push to have Venom in SM4.

Nah, lizard will probably be in sm4 and they're better off saving venom for the final films, really give the films a big send off.

Well, with Kirsten Dunst's blabbing about Sandman, Venom, and a probable Goblin in SM3, it's looking like the old SM3 Lizard thread might not be needed anymore.

However, here's the Lizard info from the Sony site's villain gallery, which might be the only Lizard-related item we'll see on the official site this time around....

Doc Ock is the only one like that we've had so far, and he shouldn't have been, since Octavius was never supposed to be a nice married guy who gave Pete counsel before becoming a villain.

Venom would change that theme. He hates Peter before he becomes a villain.

I actually liked the idea they had for the more feral lizard. I thought it was cool and The Lizard is one of my favorite villans, alongside DemoGoblin/Carnage.

I figured a good way to add to peter's pain, and give the symbiote an evil persona, and avoid the repeating theme of science accidents

pete works for conners on his experiments trying to help rats regrow limbs, but every time they successfully grow one, the rat transforms into like a rat lizard. He's been successful for the first time, and he is testing it on himself. so far everything is going according to plan.his arm is slowly growing back. in a small fridge conenrs has a batch on one side with the serum that had previously turned his lab rats into lizards. on the other side is the serum that works that conners is using on himself daily.

spidey goes to conners to ask him for some insight as to what the symbiote is. conners takes a sample to study it, and says we have to get this off of you as soon as possible. spider-man gives him a sample, of the symbiote so he can figure out a way to seperate him from the symiote. conners tells him he can go home for the night and come back the next day and he should be ready.
that very night while peter is asleep the symbiote possesses him and takes him for a midnight stroll(just like it used to in the comic book)

conners is at the lab studying the sampleof the symbiote. he is completely unaware that spider-man is in the lab. spider-man switches the serums. the symbiote makes him do this so conners will turn into the lizard and be incapable of helping spider-man seperate from the symbiote.
peter wakes up the next day, goes to conners lab completely unaware of what he did during the middle of the night.

then it becomes a race. spider-man has to cure conners so conners can cure him, before it's too late for the both of them.

that would be my spider-man 3. sandman and venom wouldn't be in the movie. but of course harry osborn would be green goblin. and I would have Ock back too.

that would also be a good way to work into eddie brock as a set up for part 4. eddie discovers what spider-man has done, but he prevents eddie from proving it, to protect conners and his family, making eddie look like a liar, ruining his career.

I have a feeling that Connors' studying the symbiote (mentioned in another thread... not sure if its true) may lend room for a possibility of his arm regeneration and so on and so forth. BUT, I have a feeling that we're going to be teased at the end of Spidey 3, leading to a Venom and Lizard-filled Spidey 4.

I forgot the look of him. This Lizard was probably the best Lizard I ever seen because it was a combination of different lizards, it ran and jumped like a raptor, but still had a sense of the old Connors' Lizard.

It's stupid to have a movie series based on a comic book series, and have a major character from the series only show up in part but in most of the films. If Connors is in the movies he should be Lizard. It shouldn't take multiple films. The guy has one arm, wants another, uses lizard genetics/dna/whatever and grows another with insane side effects. See? I summed it up in a sentance. So Raimi should be able to write a script for him.

itd be cool if they just mention at the end that the doctor had an accident in his lab and he is missing. that way they are just foreshadowing him the way they did to harry in SM2.
