What's the Queen's problem with Snow White then? In the fairy tale she was worried about SW's beauty surpassing her own.

From what I've read about the script, [blackout]the Queen can only maintain that beauty by draining it out of all the beauties in the land. This has caused most of the other women in the kingdom to scar/mutilate their own faces so that the Queen has no interest in them. The Queen's beauty won't last without "rejuvenation," making Snow White the FUTURE "fairest of them all" kind of by default.[/blackout]

Even in the trailer, the mirror tells the Queen that she is still the fairest, but that Snow White is destined to surpass her at some point.

AFAIC, it's the same thing whatever she will surpass the Queen in the future or in the present. Kristen is not as pretty as Charlize ( from my POV ).

Anyway, by the look of the trailer and the few dialogues lines I heard the movie sounds good and I will even see it in theater I think.

"Beauty is my power", I got chicken skin when I saw that scene in the trailer. I like this line.

It's one thing that Snowwhite will be the fairest some day. The Queen can't accept this when "beauty is her power". If the Queen gets Snowwhite she'll be immortal and Snow is out of her way.

I agree Charlize is obviously prettier than Kristen Stewart but in the "future" I was referring to, Charlize would probably look like the shriveled old hag her character really is.

Yes, essentially Snow White would be the fairest of the [blackout]non-scarred[/blackout] crowd.

Love these featurettes, especially the one for Evil Queen/Charlize Theron. I chuckled at the part of the interview when Chris Hemsworth said he won't want to fight her. And I still think Theron is way better looking than the Snow White.

I've never seen Kristen Stewart so comfortable and enthusiastic in an interview.

Looks like there is a sequence being filmed there where Snow White and The Huntsman are fighting something that will be added with CGI later.

I don't know why but I have this big brother mentality with her, the crap she gets is more to do with a movie series she was in rather than her being a bad actress so I feel like I have to stick up for her. Plus she's getting more attractive to me the older she gets so I have even more reason to have her back.
