Spider-Man: Edge of Time - Part 2

The reason I dislike the Black Cat design is simply because it is a bad design. Thats it for me, it's just a not a good design. Which have nothing to do with it being sexualized, even if it looks a tad ridiculous.

But the more I see of this game the better it looks. Some nitpicking from me about this video, that will in no way sway my opinion but is just there because I'm a fan: Peter Parker looks a bit weird, and Vanessa Marshall had a better voice for MJ. That is all I've got.

Oh, and that someone could deduce that Peter is Spider-Man based on what MJ wears is ******ed. It has some webbing on it, that is all. There are far more obvious things that connects Peter and Spidey than that.

EDIT:
Well, we already know that the Identity Crisis pack (Ricochet, Hornet, Prodigy, Dusk, all with special in-game abilities), Future Foundation, Black Suit, Miles Morales, and Big Time are in.

As for personal preferences, there's a few cool 2099 variants that I've found around. It would be neat to see some of these:

When did Black Suit and Big Time get confirmed?

I absolutely love that we'll see the face of Peter Parker, even though he looked a little bit weird.
After 3 games in a row without seeing his face, it's finally back, I missed that

Yeah, USM really wasn't that great, IMO.
It's one of my top 5 Spidey games -PS1 games before it both same rank- and one of my favorite games
I liked it. A lot. It felt like you were in a comic book. Give me a 616 title similar to that Ultimate Spidey game for this generation and we'd have a winner.
Open World?

I thought it had a very great presentation and solid story. But the gameplay felt like they just got lazy.
I think the same.
When I think of USM, the gameplay is the last thing it comes to mind in terms of quality.

Still one of my favorite SM games.

I liked it. A lot. It was a very needed change from following the movies' stories, which in most cases they were unable to do properly. It felt like you were in a comic book. Give me a 616 title similar to that Ultimate Spidey game for this generation and we'd have a winner.

Agreed completely.

What I LOVED was the Venom gameplay, that alone upped its replay value for me... something which the Spider-Man 2 game didn't really have a lot of. Sadly.

I loved the tagline, it was something like "Be legendary. Be predatory. Be both."

**** YEAH. XD

Is anybody going to buy this on opening day? Or pre-order?

I'm gonna wait a little, see the reviews... then get it. As pretty as everything looks, this still seems like a Shattered Dimensions spiritual sequel... I don't know if they're using the same engine, but it still looks pretty similar.

Theres no way id get this on day one. There are just WAY too many games coming out in Sept/Oct/Nov for this to take up any room on my shelf. Ill prob play it at work though or borrow it out to at least play through it. If its any good, ill wait for a slight price drop(which shouldnt take long) and then ill buy it.

Too true.

So far it's (for me at least):

1. Arkham City

2. Uncharted 3

3. Assassin's Creed: Revelations

I'm going to wait for reviews. If they're the same/better than SD, I'll trade in SD for some credit and pick it up. If they're lower (which I doubt) then I'll wait till it drops.

Just Gamefly or Steam that ***** if it's available.

Dang man, i wish my list was that small. This fall is going to wipe me out.

Madden 2012

F1 2011

Gears of War 3

Arkham City

Battlefield 3

Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim

Uncharted 3

Assassins Creed: Revelations

Metal Gear HD collection

Iv got all of those on preorder and that list isnt taking in to account the games that arent going to hit this year, like Mass Effect and Hitman.

What about the new Lara Croft?
Haven't heard anything for a while and I was interested on that?

I skipped Madden 2011.

But yes, i could buy it for PS2, but it would look and play like a PS2 game, i rather buy a ps3/360 game that looks and plays like a ps3/360 game.

That wont make it out until 2012. Not sure if it'll be early 2012 or later, like the fall.

The new Tomb Raider is out fall 2012.

And are you seriously comparing a rushed PS2 version of a game to a PS3/360 game Spider13?

Open World?

Yes, definately.

What I hate is this: People who say 'O you guys asked for them to be linear like Arkham Asylum and now you want free roam again...'

No. I never asked for linear. Not once. Having Spidey in a linear game is like paying a prostitute to cook your dinner. Completely f***ing pointless, and a big waste of money when you could be getting so much more... bang for your buck.

Trying to unlock the symbiote really twisted my noodle. I think I managed most of them. Was a while ago though.

Agreed. I never wanted Spidey taken out of a free roaming NY. Thats not to say i didnt want some missions that brought the focus down a bit, maybe some indoor missions or missions that took place at like the zoo or something, but i deff think Spidey is best suited to a free roaming environment.

It's madden 2012 it's football. I don't think anyone can get try enjoyment out of that and also they make madden 2013 in a year.

Also I perfer the "rushed ps2 version" of the force unleashed over the ps3 version

ps2 more force powers more levels more costumes.
