Already thinking of potential Normans to match.

If all the spoilers I read are true....

Well as far as JDrew goes, give her powers or just use someone else! Unless she ends up becoming Spider Woman in another film.

Was thinking if they do have kraven in a future film why not have him injest the same herb that gave bp his powers? Say when klaw stole the vibranium kraven was with him as a guide/bodyguard. Klaw got the vibranium but kraven took the herb. Would be a nice tie in. Having another magical potion just seems a bit much.

Yeah, I'm not really sure why that particular Instagram page is somehow more credible than a deleted post by a reliable trade...

Regardless, these are both in my opinion the top options for Norman.

Bale could, at least, give us a New Yorker accent as Norman. Matthew McConaughey not so much.

But I know I shouldn't get hung up on accents.

I still like guys like Jason Isaacs, Ralph Fiennes, Bryan Cranston or heck even Kevin Bacon. He worked with Jon Watts in "Cop Car."

By whom? A random Instagram post?

Ok you have a point. But I'd be more inclined to believe it if there were other sources saying this, e.g. The Hollywood Reporter or Variety. I can't find a trace of this rumor anywhere else.

Is it now a rule that to play a Spiderman villain, you need to have been Batman?? :p

Didn't Mateo already say no to a couple of roles in the MCU? I would think Harry was one of those. I don't see Bale doing another long term comic book role. Goblin/Harry is a character that would appear at least 2 times.

I hope the black lines are gone. Someone did a manip a while ago and it was perfect.

Very spectacular Spider-Man looking. I can dig it!

Hopefully the actual suit isn't too far off from that.

The silver webshooters are a fun little nod to the Japanese show.

I'm going to be blunt here: If they incorporate the Osborns/Goblin/Oscorp in any way, shape, or form, I'll be extremely disappointed. So many other great storylines and characters from the comics, there's really no excuse for them to go back to one they've used twice in a row now. I'm ok with them bringing the Bugle in and maybe Doctor Octopus, but please, no more of the Goblin, no more Harry, I am so burnt out.

Osborn is not limited to only being the Green Goblin. He can play a completely different role in not only this movie but the wider MCU. Norman could be the main villain of an Avengers film by himself. (Siege and Dark Reign) He's a major player in the wider MCU.

And let's face it, Green Goblin is to Spider-Man what the Joker is to Batman. He's the greatest Spider-Man villain. The only one that can even come close to taking that title is Doc Ock. Sooner or later, you're going to have to use Spidey's most dangerous, personal villain.
