Far From Home Spider-Man: Far From Home General Discussion and Speculation - Part 2

Remember how everyone thought Abraham Attah was going to be Miles Morales in Homecoming? Let's jump that gun again:

Kamala Khan? (Pause at linked timecode.)

You mean the girl sitting with her chin in her hand? Who's she?

That's who I'm referencing, although I have no clue who she is nor do I think she'll actually be named. Would be cool if they were silently setting her up as Khan though.

Guys...I just made one remark about an issue I have...and it's perfectly okay for people to have different opinions. No need to carry on for several pages about why I should agree that it's awesome.

You're posting on a forum. You're free to your opinion. I am equally free to counter your opinion. I don't need your permission to explain why I disagree with you. That's not how a forum works. If you wish to move on from the topic, then don't respond. Just as I have the same right to not respond to you when I don't wish to discuss it any longer either.

It's not about permission...it's about people not being able to accept that someone has a different opinion...and then...get this...eventually the person who has a problem with a film gets labeled a troll and a hater and obviously they are a shill for some other company blah blah blah. It's all rather boring and stale and I wish that people could accept that human beings have different opinions and that they can all be valid.

It's okay...you guys like it...I don't. I'm an adult and can accept that.

My issue is not that I don't accept your opinion. I don't agree with your opinion. You're the one taking this debate more personally than me or others. Again, you're free to come or go from the discussion same as anyone else. Complaining about the discussion because you don't like how many people are voicing disagreement with you is not going to help you in the long run.

I just don't see the point in pages of people telling me that my personal opinion is wrong. No, it's not. If your opinion is different, then...as I've said many times...GREAT. FANTASTIC. I'm glad that you like it. I'm not going to tell you that you're wrong because your opinion is just as valid as mine.

Now...about that Spider-Man trailer...

This entire forum is dedicated to film discussion, amigo. Both for agreement and disagreement. This entire site is full of endless "You're wrong" discussions. That's called being on the internet. No one is saying you can't have an opinion. But at the same time, I don't have to tell you that I agree with you.

That's cool. 5 page discussions about how a personal opinion is incorrect is a lot of fun. Not as fun as finding out that Jessica Jones mom isn't really dead, but still kind of fun.

I feel like if Marvel had already cast Kamala Khan, we would've heard about it.

You mean the girl sitting with her chin in her hand? Who's she?

What happened to her chin? How did it come off her face and why was she sitting with it in her hand?

My favorite little nugget out of all of this is how the heck does this take place "minutes after" Endgame ends? Theories abound..

She is playing Ms. Chin-less. They based her character on Oddjob from the 007 movies. Only instead of a hat, she tosses her detachable chin to decapitate people.

Only in a Marvel movie, am I right?!:D:

Very nice. It might not look like a whole lot compared to some of the other trailers on the list, but the fact that it is the only Sony movie in the top 10 should tell you something. The hype for this movie is real, especially with it coming off of the goodwill of both Homecoming and IW and coming right after Endgame.

Super hero films like the comics they are based on are about the only movies where death isn't necessarily the end but just part of the journey. You might not like it and that's fine but you'll have to accept it as that is the way it is. Some will be dead longer than others and some will be permanent. It is just part of the story. If you can't accept it and it spoils your enjoyment of the film then maybe superhero films aren't for you. Which is also fine.

If cap or iron man dies in endgame they will be back at some point that is guaranteed. They are franchises worth billions marvel will not just throw them away and forget about them.

We know in most films that the hero will most likely survive until the end. No matter what danger they face during the film. Does that lessen the drama? Possibly but it shouldn't spoil the film for you.
