Far From Home Spider-Man: Far From Home General Discussion and Speculation - Part 2

Anyone else thinks this is coming waaaay to soon after Endgame?
Like, the gap between films (and the whole marketing) is too close? They even had to put a spoiler warning in the trailer itself!

Really hope it's not all Midnight showings Monday night. My theater doesn't have tickets up yet but others in the area are showing Midnight times

I think it is midnights for Monday. It's the same here.

The "next iron man" thing certainly isn't subtle. its almost an alternative way to drive peter and keep Tonys memory alive. abit uncle ben-ish.

Well, that was great. I wasn't that interested in FFH, but I am now.

Could we possibly see
other versions of our heroes going forward?
.

That's what some are saying on twitter. I hope it's true.

I will take Chris Evans as Cap in any movie I can, so I too hope it is true

Not fond of the whole JJ knowing his is spider-man because "its obvious". yeah i get its funny but why does he even have a secret identity anymore?
In the Ultimate comics it’s even worse since people keep finding out left and right(even most of the villains find out eventually). He’s really sloppy at keeping his indentity a secret there.

My theater has a strange sold out for all shows July 2. I’ll call them later but seems weird

Much better trailer than the last one for me, the action seems to have taken a much needed step up from Homecoming, and I am really intrigued by the Multi-verse stuff and Mysterio, who is usually my least favourite Spidey villain.

It got to the point where it felt like More people knew peter was Spider-Man then didn’t in that series

Pretty much echoing everything you just said. I’m super hyper critical when it comes to action sequences in movies and these definitely look like an upgrade.

Any word on whether we are going to get some “Spider sense” moments in this movie? I don’t get why it’s so difficult just to have a few scenes with it here and there. Even something as subtle as saying “Oh god” and ducking when Bucky threw the structure at him from behind in Civil War works well. Little moments and touches like that go a long way with the non casual fan base of the character.

I know Mysterio’s the
villain and that’s the twist but Jake Gyllenhaal looks really good and I kinda want to see him as a hero now :O

I liked the one in Infinity War, "something is coming" in Titan.

So how many villains are in this one ? Hydro man , molten man, mysterio?... Seems like quite a bit to fit in..

A bit nervous about that since stuffing it in one movie has a bit of a SM3 feel to it. Feel sick even mentioning that movie ....

I thought it was mentioned that those aren't actually Spider-Man villains like Hydro Man but some weird elemental monsters.

That little touch was great as well and it literally takes 1-2 seconds of dialogue if you don’t want to use the audio cue/slow down time like other movies did.

Gah, Mysterio looks amazing!

So I guess Tony really is supposed to be Uncle Ben?...I'm not a fan.

And at this point, why does he even wear a mask? Secret identity? Pfft.

Multiverse aka Deadpool, X-Men, FF, and....... maybe even Sony's Venom and Morbius?
