I just love that image.

I really can't wait for this mini to come out.

Along with the X-Men/Spider-Man series that just started, outside the normal series' its a very exciting few months for Spidey fans.

Fixed. ;)

meh, another universal reboot to come in when the ultimate universe decides to fade out...

it all sounds very batman-esque...

I might just buy this... It seems like it'll be an interesting take on Spidey. It's kind of interesting that they planned this to take place during the Depression, and as someone mentioned in an interview I read, it's almost appropriate for these times.

This does sound bloody cool. I was wondering what on Earth those ads were about... Damn cool though.

Uh, because he is...

He's Spidey's Joker/Lex Luthor/Magneto.

Exactly. Actually, I'd say Mags is a bit of a push, but Norman has pretty much always been a cross between Luthor and the Joker. And this has been pushed more and more over the years visually and personalitywise. It's pretty obivous.

I've always really liked that about him, and the various writer over the years have added more and more layers of his personality in regards to his family, father issues, and psychotic obsession with Peter/Spider-Man.

I know it's a bit cheesy, but I love it! U get the Joker AND Lex in one villain? That's some serious bang for your buck!

What? How? Not a single thing in there sounds Batman-esque to me.

The only way is that Batman, (along with like 90% of all super heroes,) evolved from pulp fiction characters and essentially built upon those original models created at the start of the last century.

God I love the blond Phantom... ;-)

SPIDER-MAN NOIR #3 (of 4)

Written by DAVID HINE
Art by CARMINE DI GIANDOMENICO
Cover by PATRICK ZIRCHER
Variant Cover by DENNIS CALERO
Young Peter Parker's been given the power - but does he have what it takes in gritty 1930s New York? There's only so much a kid like Peter can do against corrupt city politicians and slick gangland bosses. But when he gets unexpected inside info on the Goblin's dirty dealings, it's the chance of a lifetime for the Spider-Man to clean up the town!
32 PGS./Rated T+ ...$3.99

This looks like an interesting concept. I like that slick suit in the covers. I will check out that preview and see if it grabs me in.

When is this due out? I really must have it!

I just added this to my pull list, as well. Looks GREAT....hopefully the story will be as good as the artwork that I'm seeing! Also, this is on cool suit! I fell the same way as when I first saw the Spidey 2099 suit back in ASM#365! Good stuff!

Yeap.

Nice variant to #2. It's Felicia right? Wonder if MJ or Gwen is in this one too
