Playstation Spider-Man (PS4) - Part 3

I wish they’d patch for everyone who wants to have all costumes can do so now without having to complete all the challenges. I didn’t even do the Screwball challenges.

Besides the screwball stuff, I enjoyed the DLC.(I got it one of the last times it was on sale) Hammerhead isn't the most engaing villain, but I liked their take on Black Cat and Silver Sable. I thought they did Felicia justice in particular.
Yeah, over the last week or so, I finished all three chapters and threw in a NG+ on Ultimate for good measure.I was able to complete all her challenges without much issue, but I'm in the air as if I want to finish up the handful I didn't get Spectacular on for the 100%. I was a bit deflated when Spidey didn't beat the bejesus out of her after her capture. At least web her mouth shut...repeatedly. I mean, empty the entire cartridge.

Felicia was definitely the highlight of the DLC for me. Second entry was kinda meh, but not bad and I wanted a little more from Silver Lining, primarily based on how much more shine I think Sable should get in general. Fun stuff overall.

Considering it's only been two years since the first game, I'm expecting the map to be more or less the same but with improved graphics. They could throw a surprise in there and give us Brooklyn since it's Miles's neighborhood.

So this seems to be a "in-betweenquel" in a similar fashion to how Arkham Origins was created with the same assets by WB Montreal between Arkham City and Arkham Knight for the Batman franchise.

Gotta make those sweet bucks while we wait for the full sequel :p

I recently heard the fun title for these kind of entries; Salad Games.

You guys are probably the best ones to point me to them, does have Miles Morales have a considerable list of villains that are just relevant to him and not the regular Spidey? Are any of them actually interesting?

It'd be pretty amazing if we got Brooklyn in this game, and then they could add Queens in the one after. It'd be awesome to actually be able to swing across the Brooklyn and Queensboro bridges, we haven't been able to do that since Ultimate.

Haven't been able to play this game. With Miles getting his own game, can someone spoil me this ending? I know Miles appears in this but so does he get his powers by the end?

What is likely is the timeline between this game and the Miles game?

He gets his powers by the end of the main game, and starts swinging after the end of the last DLC episode; Silver Lining.

Unknown yet. I'm hoping it starts immediately after the events of the first game's DLC and we see him learning the ropes as he creates a suit and gadgets for himself.

EDIT: Actually, I remember that the first game took place in the fall (specifically there was a mission that took place at a Halloween party) and there's plenty of snow in the trailer. I'm assuming that Miles Morales picks up pretty soon after the events of the first game.

Prowler is, far and away, his biggest and best villain.

How would you guys feel about the sequel taking place in San Francisco instead of NY? Or maybe someplace in Europe with Peter looking for Harry.

With the Miles game taking place in the same NY City (with some probable additions, like Arkham Origins), swinging through the same city once again might feel stale or like more of the same.

I'm all for a change of place. Kinda like in Far From Home.

I wouldn't be opposed, but I think I'd prefer expanding on NYC, between Brooklyn, Queens, expanding Manhattan, Roosevelt island, the Statue of Liberty, and the Bronx they aren't exactly short on ways to expand the city to areas that Spidey games have for the most part neglected.

It looks stylized enough to not look much of the same, and Miles will probably add an extra flavor to the city cause it looked to me that he moves differently. I wouldn't mind a trip to another town though.

I don't want Spidey being taken out of NYC becoming a trend just because it'd be different. I don't mind if it's like something for just a mission or two not part of the main map, but NY is part of Spidey.

If you wanna play as Spidey in San Fransisco just play GTA with a mod.

Because you have that work of entertainment going on for you, I'd advice against saying something like this, it doesn't sound welcoming or friendly.

I've never played the original game, but when it comes to the recent Marvel movies, I've never understood why they want to keep taking Spider-Man out of New York. To me, New York is the perfect setting for him because it's a large American city with enough skyscrapers for him to swing on. It's like he's Tarzan, and New York is his jungle. And since we're talking about a video game, changing the location wouldn't be just a change of pace, it would fundamentally change how the game is played.

Do you really want to play a game where you have the power to swing all over the place, yet set it in a location that doesn't really allow you to do that?

Thanks for the answers. I was already under the impression that a change would not be welcomed for the most part, but I had to ask.

I won't even dignify that with a proper answer.

No, I want to play a game where I have the power to swing all over the place and set in a location that does allow me to do that. New York is not the only place that allows that kind of traversal.

Chicago looks nice:

San Francisco:

Toronto:

London:

Frankfurt:

There are great places that could be explored, but it seems that there's a lot of resistence regarding this kind of change.
