just curious as to what you consider terrible then?

the acting was bad. the dialogue was bad. the characters were wooden. the effects were, umm, alright i guess - but everything looked clean and plastic. there were story issues that im sure have been retread on these boards already. what does it take to be terrible in your opinion?

i found episode 2 entertaining, sort of...but that doesnt make it a good movie.

Like I said, AOTC is the worst. I'm not the biggest fan, but it isn't horrible.

I did. I didn't hate it...but I sat through Episodes I & III way more entertained.

i was trying to gauge what you consider awful. you said episode 2 was just mediocre, and now i find out that episode 3 was your favorite of all of them. which means our rating scales of awfulness are so far away from each other that its almost inverted.

thats all. i thought the prequels were horrendous,. all of them. and i wouldnt classify them as quality movies. or even mediocre for that matter. but im picky as hell.

and i asked your age because guys who grew up with the prequels propably look at it far more favorably than i do.

I grew up with the OT before even knowing of Episode I (I saw ANH for the first time in 1995), so yes, I knew of the big revelation, everything. I guess, I don't know. I admit they aren't perfect, and like I said, SW2 is the worst of all 6, but I still enjoy them. Whatever floats my boat, right?

Yeah I could give a rats ass about RT, check out the viewer opinions on amazon and imdb from others.

TMNT 1990 didn't have bad acting, wooden characters, etc, etc. That's my opinion.

i dont grade on a bell curve. just because there are tons of crap, doesnt make those any less crap IMO. they get a lot of high profile hate because of the franchise, but most, if not all, is justified.
