Give me a light green bat-suit and I'll have problems enjoying the movie.

That's completely different! That's the wrong color completely! :funny: Your eyes would be attracted to it by nature.

But still, I'm sorry you're finding this so difficult to enjoy.

Well, it's not like that ugly and unnecessary indentation is the only serious problem. I already mentioned the webs that are not webs; those are all over the suit. And then we have the snickers crap. So my example still stands.

Ok, THAT I can agree with. Probably one of the worst decisions I've seen in a long time.

And yet tell me that people look at feet more than at the back when the back's onscreen.

But yes, terrible. :cmad:

:funny:

Raimi's Aunt May was pretty weak looking, but she was a great character.

Yeah, she was one of my favorite parts of the movie. Despite, looking weak she had a strong character & I liked that. Hopefully, this Aunt May is just as good.

I still think the red belt needs to be finished. But:

CLOSE ENOUGH

I think that's the census around here. Everyone seems to be a fan of this suit(well, besides the ones who worship Raimi's films, lol), and while everything looks fine just for the fact that Webb wanted to change the suit, the belt should've stayed.

Personally I wish they'd have made a strip for his waist out of the stupid leg ones but whatever, it still looks pretty cool. Love the colors particularly.

I've gotta say, everyone seems to have various, different fanboy complaints about this costume, the shoes, the colours, the eyes, the emblem, the web shooters etc, but I think the only thing that really bother me is the dark, blotches that cover the costume. It looks like they've intentionally tried to make the costume darker and edgier. I'm not sure how I feel about that. It might end up suiting the tone of the film perfectly, but I don't think that's what the tone of a Spidey movie should be.

What dark blotches that cover the costume are you talking about? The blue and red colors on this costume are brighter than Raimi's...

Look at this image

They've made the red part all grimy, with dark stains on it. It just comes off as making the costume look intentionally dirty.

That's a set pic from a stunt scene. Look at the new, official pictures. No dirt.

I think the dark parts were to help the webbing stand out. It stays away from the indents so that the color correcters and post production dudes know where the webbing is.

Or maybe it just got dirty naturally, because like Pac said, there's no dirt in the new pictures.

Look at the shoulder... There is still a weird, splotchy colouring effect going on there

It's this great thing called lighting. It's the fabric and material the suit is made out of that gives that effect, it's not purposefully done to make the suit look "edgier". It's just the way light reflects off of it.

Yeah, I saw that, but it goes down the arm and to the hand. I think it might be a burn mark/intentional. Either way, I don't really care. I think it looks kinda cool, actually :o

Maybe Spidey's doing a lot of ground-based stuff like rolling in the new movie so his suit gets dirty and stuff. I personally think it looks kind of cool. I agree that a dark tone isn't suitable for a Spider-Man movie but I'm sure everything will be balanced out.

I dunno how "dark" they are making this reboot. I hope it's "dark" but not like BB or TDK, just noticeably more merciless. Let's hope the trailer shows me gold...and not ****.

The splotches on the shoulder and arm are not lighting dude, I worked for two years doing lighting in a news studio, I'm familiar with what light can do, and that is not shadow, it's on the actual costume, but thanks for being a condescending *****e about it, there aren't enough of you guys on the internet.

It's not that I don't think it looks cool, just not sure if it suits Spider-Man.

I think overall, the thing i'm happiest about is Garfield's body type. Loving the lean, acrobatic type Spidey.

Also, let's not forget Sony going on about how 'gritty' they wanted to make this film

If you look at this shoulder, on the blue part, you see some black on that part which helps sway the burn thing and that this picture might be right after it

The blue has the same black marks.

It's lighting dude. Tell me how the "splotches" on the mask in that high res photo disappear in clearly better lighting displayed in the EW photo? And even if you are correct, what a ****** thing to nitpick about.

Calm down, dude. This is nothing worthy of an argument.
