I think it's actually his eye. lol
I wanted, and still want the big round red spidey
I don't think that it would work with the more detailed designs used in the movies.
Agreed. That's one of the MANY reasons I felt the Acheson suit was a perfect translation from comic to film. It tweaked anything that may have looked odd on film into something incredible.I don't think that it would work with the more detailed designs used in the movies.
As well with the more lean look. It can look nice on paper, such as comic books, but when dealing with a more actual lean Spidey, I think the spider designs fit more accurately.

You love everything about the past Spider-Man trilogyAgreed. That's one of the MANY reasons I felt the Acheson suit was a perfect translation from comic to film. It tweaked anything that may have looked odd on film into something incredible.

Not sure what you're talking about.
You bet your butt they were incredible. You love everything about the past Spider-Man trilogy
Not saying that's a bad thing, though. It was brilliant![]()

The big red spider on the back of the suit would look ridiculous on Andrew's frame. He's lanky, unlike Maguire, in which a big red spider would've looked better on Maguire.
I'm not sure why a lanky frame would make the red spider look more ridiculous.
I think the new suit gets way too much flack. Everyone based their opinions on bad set pics that weren't depicted through the artist's eyes. Every official picture of the suit has been great.
To me, the stretch look of the spider fits into the frame. Maguire always looked more like the short and muscle type and a red, round spider would look nicer on that type of build/suit.
I don't know, it's hard to explain I guess, but that's just how I feel. Kinda like how the more wider/rounder look of the 'S' looks better on Cavill and the more longer 'S' looked great on Routh.

I can see what you mean, Anno. A "fatter" symbol would look a little weird on the current Peter's thinner build, and the whole sleek and slender look the whole suit has to it.

Is it just me or is there actually something in his eye? Lol
