The Amazing Spider-Man Spider-Man Reboot Costume Part 4 - "What's that in his eye??" - Part 6

I wonder if the script for what was going to be SM4 will ever be put online?

If Cameron directed Spider-Man, we would have been sure of three things:

1) Jaw dropping action sequences that would have put other superhero films to shame. Nobody does action like Jim Cameron.

2) Cutting-edge visual effects. The VFX Oscar would have already been in the bag.

3) A great Mary Jane Watson. Strong female characters are Cameron's forte.

1) The train sequence. It pretty much tops em all.
2) SM2 won the oscar for VFX.

I realize these are not from SM1 but assuming Cameron did the first, he may have done the second.

Wallopin Websnappers..

I just noticed something...

I may be late on this....
but there are a few things about the reboot costume that are VERY similar to the first film's wrestling outfit..
1 of them being stripes on the side of the pants legs

the other being the gloves....

Here's a version of the suit with raised black webbing, courtesy of Spidey4Fun.

I think that is the coolest Spidey suit I have ever seen!

The username "Spider-Man" wasn't registered until 2012?

Seriously?

I'm sure it was to make it stand out more on camera or somehting to do with how light hit it or whatever but it's always been my least favorite aspect of Tobey's suit by far. The one pictured above looks great.

Yah...the funny thing is that, if he wanted to make the suit shiny, Raimi should've made the colors brighter instead.

The "silver" was a better idea simply because in that picture the webbing can look flat unless the sun is right on top of it. The "silver" webbing would always looked raised. Also Raimi may have wanted it to be similar to how a web spiral reflects in the sunlight. I think the inversion Webb has for the suit is another take. It keeps it black but its not raised. Remember a suit needs to look pretty in multiple circumstanced and not one particular pose.

Agreed. I never had a problem with the raised silver webbing, to be honest.

A suit doesn't need to look pretty, lol.

You think Nolan said, "I need to make Batman's new suit pretty."

Black webbing can stand out just as much, imo. Just like the picture on this page, that can look nice in sunlight or not.

I honestly never noticed the weblines were "raised", until so many here started crying foul about it last year.
