No, Webb said that the mystery behind Peter's parents doesn't stop in the first film. The origin part will probably be solved, It's not the like the BIG mystery is only the origin

I'm kinda torn on the belt. I like the way it looks on the outside of the costume in the game so I'd like to see how it looks in the movie too.

Well, I said this before and I'll say it again. I wouldn't be surprised if the belt showed up in a sequel. It'd be evolution of the suit in this movie into an alternate version of the classic suit (with the belt).

Peter runs out of webbing a few times in this movie, so I'm assuming he'll learn from that and incorporate some sort of way of storing spare cartridges.

If they include the belt in the sequel I really really wish that they remove the sidestripes for that. They are there clearly to compensate for the lack of belt, and with a belt they aren't needed at all.

No I don't have anything against them, but I don't like in the game that both of those elements are there. Obviously they didn't fix that in the game cause it was a late decision and the production was too far.

I actually don't mind the side stripes. Spidey has a strips of red connecting the red chest area of the suit to his gloves... so it doesn't seem too crazy if he has something similar with the half-belt and his boots.

No, I don't mind them at all, but if they would leave them with the belt it would just hurt the design

I've never had any issues with the costume. I think it's a nice change and leaves room for Peter to improve on the design as well as adding whatever gadgets he can in the future (pls, Spider tracers in ASM2).

I can see the reason of him using a belt and not underneath his suit, but the only off-putting thing to me is that belt is only halfway around his waist, which is a bit confusing. Other than that though, I could see Spidey having a belt in The Amazing Spider-Man 2.

The way they designed the suit is brilliant. I can believe that it was made by a 16 year old! The suit has a lot of room to grow, and become "perfect." So by the third film, it could even be the classic Spidey outfit. Who knows?

I'd love to see the Rielly costume in live action!! I think the design would fit perfectly with this suits material. That suit above doesn't look quite right with the silver webs and giant black spider.
