Wouldn't it be cool if DC gave me a cameo in their next Batman movie! What are you waiting for? Start a letter-writing campaign!

Wouldn't really be cool..

Unless he met Batman face to face & show him how a "real Batman" would look like only to have Batman reply with a batarang to the face

Failed?

I guess that would make him a great actor. Especially since he's the most famous / successful comic book writer of all time.

:thing: :doom: :thing:

I think it would confuse people. They would think Batman is Marvel.
Stan is good actor though. Playing Larry King in Iron Man 2

People who are confused think Batman and Spider-man are in the same universe anyway. The joke is for people who "get it".

:thing: :doom: :thing:

You mean like Coolio had a cameo appearance in Batman & Robin; please, if you want to make the film campy as hell then go ahead...while we're at it...let's throw in Brodie and TS and turn it into a freaking ComiCon/Mallrats movie.

Pfft - you aren't serious are you?

Just because he wrote some stories doesn't mean he is entitled to a cameo - cameo appearances of comic book writers and rap stars and the like do not belong in a movie that is trying to take itself seriously. When we start suggesting these sorts of additions to Nolan's Batman, we cheapen the quality of the film and reduce it to the campy product that Schumacher produced.

Only if the scene is at a restaurant with Stan as himself and Nolan playing Bob Kane pitch various superhero ideas to each other. Bale interrupts and goes, "How about a rich playboy dressed as a Bat" and they both laugh it off...

YES!! DO THIS!!!

I don't deny he can be a great actor...just not in this Batman; if it were Schumacher's Batman, hell, I would have supported him playing AS Batman!

It can be done. A small insignificant cameo just for fans and such. It would happen towards the end of the movie with Batman no longer on the run and just having apprehended the Depp's Riddler and Di Caprio's Black Mask

Hitchcock did no harm.

But I do agree. Say they remake a movie and the original actors made cameos ,that would really crap it up.

I just don't know about Di Caprio as Black Mask; I mean, no offense, but...really?

Okay...I get ya...I guess if he were like selling papers in like one of those newspaper stands then maybe Stan Lee would be okay. But it would have to be only like a second or so - nothing more, or else it gets campy - mark my words...it would. At the end of the day, though you got what you wanted, would it be worth it?

I still would like the restaurant thing though. A light hearted moment.
Because I'm sure the 3rd one will be depressing as hell.

EDIT:

It's only campy if you do it like that. People talk about lots of things during dinner/lunch and Wayne just happens to be a real nosy parker.

Not really. But just a quick glimpse of him walking by. Not something like him being a rival butler to Alfred or anything.

Yeah like I said - at like a newsstand or something - very quick and then done.

I just can't see Nolan doing something with the restaurant thing; it just seems so unlike Nolan to make something like that happen - not that it's not funny, it just seems out of his typical directing style.

I'd love for him to be in it..

If Kanye came and interrupted him and said..."Stan Lee, imma let you finish but Bob Kane made one of the best super heroes of all time!"

Wow. Stan would probably secretly call all of you overly sensitive and protective morons.

He was joking. JOKING.

Why so serious nerds?

How would I know he's joking? I assume he's serious if he posts it; thus, generating a discussion on the matter.

And who cares anyways if he was joking? It's unnecessary to have Stan Lee in there - it would be much better to have Adam West in the movie doing a cameo...way better.
