Well... Well a double dumb ass on you!
The reason why I don't particular care for Star Trek Into Darkness is because it's a bad retread of Wrath of Khan, which isn't just uninspired but lazy. I was so disappointed that Abrams would have allowed something like that to happen after making Star Trek (2009) a sequel/prequel instead of a full on reboot. With that said, it's an enjoyable film with great action and absolutely beautiful cinematography. I even forgive them whitewashing Khan since Cumberbatch as Khan wasn't the problem. The Kirk death scene and the magic Khan blood definitely was contrived as hell, though.
And this is coming from someone who would consider himself a fan of the TOS films and 90s Trek who loves Star Trek (2009).
This. All of it.
There aren't many things that LITERALLY make me cringe while watching a movie, but Spock screaming "KHHHHAAAAANNNNN!!!" at Kirk's death was absolutely one of them.
I remember feeling a combo of irritated and amused by horribly bad that scene came off as.

Someone told me that he used "Sabotage" at the beginning of the first film to poke fun at Shatner, because Shatner has trouble pronouncing that word, supposedly. I have no idea if that's true though.
probably my favorite quote in all of Star Trek

I honestly don't think there will be a fourth film.
The proof is in the hilarious pudding:

It's crazy that the man is 85. He's full of energy and is always working.
LOL, what the hell? Shatner DELIBERATELY mispronounced it?![]()
He is from Montreal. Apparently thats how they pronounce that word.
