Sorry. :( I suppose it was too much to hope that Lucas had an alternate Boba Fett vs Han fight to cut in to these versions. :woot:
I better not answer or i'll break ur heart again :hehe: (i dont care for an alternate Bobba vs Han fight) ... sorry :csad:

That Kotobukiya Bobba looks great! If i was a big fan of him i'd get it, but since i'm not... :oldrazz:

I gotta say i've come to realize today that Batman fans are as nitpicky and winy as SW fans with the release of that Catwoman pic lol. People always find a reason to complain. I hope Nolan knows he wont make everyone happy.

I don't often feel bad watching a film, but I always dread that scene. Just want to give that little guy a hug. : (

I LOVE YOU TOO.

How do you ewok lovers feel about Jar Jar nowadays?

I'll take Ewoks over Jar-Jar anytime,There cuter/funnier/smarter/braver/actually willing to fight in a war/more important/way more iconic/And know how to have a much better time!!

London's O2 Arena will play host to an Empire Presents Big Screen event from August 12 to 14, 2011. Here is a description of the event from the O2 arena website:

"BIG SCREEN brings Hollywood to London at The O2 from 12-14 August 2011.

The extravaganza is being backed by all the major studios including The Walt Disney Company and Disney Pixar, Twentieth Century Fox, Sony Pictures, Marvel Studios, Paramount Pictures, Universal Pictures, Warner Bros. plus the independent distributors. It promises global firsts and never-before-seen access to front-of-camera stars and behind-the-scenes talent who produce the magical movies we all love.

There is a wide range of packages for this event, depending on how much you want to see."

So how does this tie in to Star Wars on Blu-Ray? Industrial Light & Magic is scheduled to host a presentation on Friday, August 12 that will feature Anthony Daniels, ILM digital artist John Goodson, and ILM visual effects supervisor Bill George. Besides behind-the-scenes anecdotes, fans can anticipate there to be some newly released footage from the Star Wars saga on Blu-Ray. We'll be sure to keep you posted as details emerge from the event.

In the meantime, you can get more Big Screen info via the following links:

In additional SW on BD news, our friend Kenny K. got the following information from a Lucasfilm e-mail:

"Industrial Light and Magic did go in and make many technicalimprovements, most notably color matching on select lightsabers shots."

I don't necessarily think this is shocking news, but it comes as a bit of a confirmation as to what a lot of fans were expecting. Star Wars is forever being tinkered with...or shall we say perfected. I'm sure it will all look and sound fantastic!

Awesome. That ROTJ one better be one of the selected.
Actually, that's really the only one I feel strongly about.

I love that one.

However, Sideshow and Gentle Giant are usually the most expensive in terms of statues. Unless you get a good deal from Ebay.

But if you are looking for something less expensive look into the Kotobukiya line.

Thanks Erz, I saw that one at Amazon when I was looking up the options, it's pretty cool, I was also considering this one.

I have this one myself.

Very cool If you don't mind me asking, how much did that one set you back?

My heart can't take much more Bim! :csad: :oldrazz:

I often wonder if part of the reason for the awesome Obi Wan vs Jango fight in ATOC was to appease those of us so let down by the way Boba bit the dust. :woot:

*Thinks of that thread.....shudder*

During my searches I came across this!

Priced at a grand minus 1 penny. :wow:

I also saw this, has anyone read it? is it a graphic novel collection or a regular novel collection?

^I have that omnibus, it's a graphic novel collection. It's okay, very inconsistent quality of the stories throughout the book (but, I mean, it does delivery its promise of having all the Dark Horse solo Boba Fett adventures, so...)

Color corrections on the lightsabers? I do really hope they do it in the Falcon scene where Luke is training with the floating orb. Because it goes from green to white. And it annoys the **** out of me.

I think I will wait for reviews of the set before buying the set. It sucks enough that the Deleted Scenes are not remastered but when they have not even fixed the Lightsabers then that is a problem

Do most (or really, any) movie releases touch up the deleted scenes that they include on the discs? If you look at the quality they're in right now, it would take a **** ton of back breaking work to get it looking the same quality as the HD restorations of the films. Plus, it should be exciting enough that we're getting new material from the OT.

Not me...the Ewoks have tasted human flesh and crave it...they were gonna eat Han and Luke if Leia didnt stop them

Yeah, people seem to forget that those cute little teddy bears were gonna feast on the rebels.

Oh man, i really love that scene. I also love the asteroid chase. "Blast! this is why i hate flying!":hehe:. I love the sound of the seismic charges, because they go from silent to friggin' loud. That is such a fun scene.

Some Batman fans are really starting to scare me lol. I pity u having to be a mod in those threads, yikes!

roach: baby ewoks need their protein, so a little human flesh is necessary from time to time, no big deal :oldrazz:

Makes me even sadder Yub Nub was taken out of ROTJ

You know, I never was a huge fan of Yub Nub. As I've gotten older I don't mind it as much, and I can listen to it but I find the newer celebration is more pleasent to listen to.

Yeah, people seem to forget that those cute little teddy bears were gonna feast on the rebels.

Not to mention the fact that they disregarded the direct order of their 'god' to spare Han and Luke, and only did it when Threepio gave a display of his awesome power.

Thanks for the info, I may pick it up.

I think Erzette paid about $89 - $99 for it?

It was a gift.

Now That's a girlfriend! :woot:

That whole part on Kamino is great IMO, and the two part action sequence between Obi Wan and Jango is my favourite in the saga, especially the fight on the loading deck. :D The sound effects in the asteroid chase are amazing, especially when you see the film in the cinema, they really pull you in like a rollercoaster for your ears lol.

Some Batman fans are really starting to scare me lol. I pity u having to be a mod in those threads, yikes!
Half that section will get themselves banned before the first full trailer is out at the rate they are going.

I actually like the new Celebration song over the Ewok Celebration song. Maybe because it's more solemn?

But I do use the Ewok Celebration song as a ringtone for my fiance.

New celebration music and in fact all of the new ending of ROTJ (not getting into the Hayden/Shaw mess) is a big improvement. I like the Ewoks, but they felt like the stars of ROTJ when it was supposed to be Luke and Vader's movie.

I love the ewoks. So darn cute. I get and like what Lucas was trying to do with a Vietnam metaphor of a primitive race taking down a mighty army. He just made them far too cuddly to be taken seriously. They should have been primitive but a little more hard edged, similar to the Navi in Avatar (can't believe I just compared Star Wars to that dross).
That said I still love the ewoks. I still get teary eyed when that one gets blown up and his friend starts crying over his dead body. :csad:

I don't get the love for Yub Nub. It just feels so bare bones and disjointed, though I guess that was kinda the point. Victory Celebration sounds so epic near the end and I love how it builds up to the credits. It's also damn catchy. :awesome:

Ewoks dont give a F

Do you guys think it would be better to do episodes 7-9 about Luke's kids or way further into the future.

and ewoks are awesome. They'd put annoying Jar Jar's head on pike.
